Good luck to him but I do think he'll regret it. The funny thing is that I look at our squad and I don't feel we miss him.
It's certainly a bit catty! All of what it says is true though, even if worded slightly harshly. And if, as they say, he made it clear his future was away from Saints, then 12 mill is a fantastic bit of business.
Possibly Arsenal having to take gambles as they can't compete with the big boys spending powers. They know if he turns out to amazing then Man City, Chelsea or Man U would snap him up. Big gamble tho.
When they say its blown the previous transfer out of the water I think it has to be the rumoured 12m straight up fee plus 3m. I guess we will never really find out. So the saga ends thank goodness for that. Best of luck Alex and I look forward to seeing your presence in an England shirt!!

Official Club Website says all previous transfer fees blown out of the water - suggests a lot more than £12m possibly. We got £12m for Walcott didn't we? Either him or Bale.
