Just watched the final episode of The Night Of. Superb. Best thing I've seen all year. John Turturro in that last episode was fantastic.
Not sure if it's been mentioned, but does anyone else watch Black Mirror? If not, please do. It's fantastic.
Strange I got this text yesterday. "Start watching black mirror on Netflix.... if you do though go onto the more episodes and go from the beginning as when you just press play it starts series 3 Xx " I may give it a go.
Aye, seen all of them apart from the new series (just watched first episode of that series). Big fan of Brooker in general. With reference to past Black Mirror episodes, the PM doing the pig was some insight.
Steven Merchant was excellent doing Crystal Maze!! His skitty put downs where really funny. Missings a strange one worth further viewing.
That PM episode was the very first episode too, about 4 years before we found out about Dave's uni exploits. Brooker is fantastic, whenever he has a show on TV, I have to stop and watch it. Weekly Wipe is a great show, wish it was on more often. Do so, Ben. I think the best way to describe it is if The Twilight Zone was made now rather than in the 50s. And by British people.
Weekly Wipe is great. As is Nathan Barley and all the other stuff he did with Chris Morris. First came across him doing the TV Go Home stuff. Actually, wouldn't mind rewatching some of the original series of The Twilight Z - top class.
check out the movie across the universe , beatle centric but really worth a watch and she is lucy in the sky so to speak
