In my very real World, not winning the CL in only 2 attempts at it is at least 10 times less embarrassing that not winning it in 20 attempts.

Now that that little round of quiz questions is out of the way, let us focus on adult arguments.

Spurs have more chance of winning the title, in any given season, than Leicester. If you don't believe me on that, check the bookies odds over the seasons since LCFC have been in the Prem (which isn't that long, granted). Spurs have more chance of finishing in the top 4 (ie. CL places) in any given year - again, check the odds and stats if you don't believe me on that.

Would I (or any Spurs fan) wish that Spurs had won the title again (ie. since the last time we won it) but on condition that we'd never likely have another chance of either winning it or getting back in to the CL? Absolutely not.

The funny thing is though your 2 attempts wasn't because of your lack of trying, it was because you failed at the first hurdle as always and failed consistently to qualify for CL!

Now what's worse trying to qualify and failing every time or qualifying and then losing trying to win!

On domestically it must be even worse then for you boys as its been over 50 years since you boys won anything of any significance!

Funny you should mention betting odds... Arsenal the perennial suckers that they are have more chance of winning the champions league that spurs have of winning the PL (not accounting that you can't even get odds on them winning the CL anymore) .

Right let’s take a step back and look at your arguments and give it a true interpretation of what you are saying here really.

Good to see you admit that LCFC have been more successful than the Spuds in recent memory unless we look at historical references like you put there, don’t get me wrong its always good to look at history and see what our forefathers have done and hopefully use that as a basis for further success in future, which in the case of Spurs it was laid to rest with the Spuds forefathers….

I agree, let’s move forward to having an adult argument.

I don’t concur that Spurs have more chance of winning the league than LCFC, even if the bookies give better odds, it still don’t mean they are correct as they can be wrong and on many occasions have been wrong and for that you need to look at facts not odds, because of reasons see below:

1. LCFC have won and been in the top 4 recently
2. What were the odds for LCFC winning last year? I think you will find they were wrong then right? Just having the odds in your favour isn’t something to brag about right, you should have won at least once in the recent memory to try and put them down.
3. Spuds haven’t so bookies are wrong there and only have been in the top 4 how many times recently? I will let you figure that out as its not many compared LCFC, especially seen as LCFC been in the league far less than Spuds, that’s embarrassing for you to point out.
4. Arsenal have more chance of winning the league based on the fact we have done so and Spuds haven’t since Burger Prince became Burger King…
5. You could even say there is more chance of Arsenal being above Spurs every season based on the fact that we have done so over 20 years so far consecutively(Don’t need bookies to confirm).
6. Based on your argument it would seem Arsenal have better chance of winning the CL than Spuds as usual and have nothing to be ashamed of unlike the Spuds.

Again based on facts here, I think you boys would love to have achieved what they have done on basis that you haven’t done so in recent memory and they have done it and the likelihood of them not winning it again wouldn’t be any worse off than Spuds really, in fact it would be the opposite to say the least. As they would have won the PL title more recently and have similar chance of getting CL again as they achieved half of that of Spuds already and the plus point they have been in the PL lot less than Spuds.

No need to thank me, I just thought I will correct you in a lawyer like manner with facts and arguments and I am sure you will appreciate that what with you being a lawyer an all.
