India blew it a bit there but should tear into englands batting again. will be interesting to see cos there has to be a result here now i think. India have a small bit of batting left and england have new ball and morning. Hopefully cook and hameed can last an hour or two.
not unexpected. cook has shown no ability to stick in and the kid got found out quick which is fair enough like he is only a kid and has to learn. roots been poor with bat and we are frankly on a tonking. bowlers did ok but batsmen have been dependant on bairstow and stokes and nobody else all series. luckily enough india produced a bad pitch at a new ground for themselves first test of this would have been the whitewash predicted.

So if england survive 10mins of the new ball and establish a 100 to 150 lead is there any chance at all of india crapping this. Woakes has gone after the thing and scored reasonably quicky so here seems to be some batting out there in the pitch still. its variable.

Not good. Always tricky playing on sub continent, just don't face those kind of pitches often enough to be able to bat well on it consistently.
It was a good effort but that anderson fella is a right ****. he got nearly done for lazy running before and got in but paid no heed and really jogged that first run. another 50 might have made it interesting. india could have fallen over the line but didn't even really break sweat. Poor show from many guys we are only seeing 1/2 guys stand up each innings not a team showing.
hameed is out of last two tests i'll translate this we give up... wave white flag and are heading home early.
he did. he came in at an interesting time bt he faced new ball well enough. england have taken him out so i expect a 4-0 result now.
