I don't have a problem with it personally unless it's in a designated family area. I swear my head at every game. But then I sit in the leazes.

I'm not a high swearer, try to avoid it generally and don't really like hearing it; I work with a girl who literally says **** every other word...thing is though this is in a poncey office and she has a very high powered job, it's pretty lame hearing her swear her head off on a daily basis.

At a match however, swearing definitely has it's place, it's part & parcel of football culture, matches wouldn't be the same without things like Bournemouth singing 3-1 and you ****ed it up, or our old ****ing dogs ditty. Same at pubs, would be the same without someone yelling "****ssake" at every close miss.

As has been said, it's about being mindful of those around you, the family stand's gonna have kids, so if you've chose to sit there, then you have a duty to be well behaved and not subject them to bad language, if you wanna swear, don't go in there. On a similar note, I used to go to see the non-league team my mate supported quite a lot, there was some season ticket holder who'd always shout racist abuse whenever a black player got the ball, we reported him and didn't see him there again.
