I go on what I see. Stats can be made to "prove" anything you want them to.
You could turn a 75% success rate on its head and get a 25% failure.
That's 1 goal conceded every 4 shots. Is that a good stat? I wouldn't know because I take no notice of them. They don't take into account the difficulty of the shots, the concentration of them in particular games, how many points won or lost are directly attributable to them and all the other aspects of a player's game.
In short, they're a total waste of time.

How much can be said about something that hasn't happened yet?

Total agreement. A pea-roller that the goalie picks up is measured the same a reflex stop from a screamer from 15 yards. This is why players shouldn't be bought on Optima statistics, no matter what the latest version of Football Manager says.

how about talking about that to do to improve in that game rather than talking about the sky has fallen in last time.

Because it doesn't matter what we say, it'll just happen anyway. Obviously things that have happened give us something more to discuss, and they incorporate suggestions for the future anyway.
The next game will be discussed as it gets closer, or if some news comes to light, but really there's not much to do apart from playing at football managers.
Each to their own, but I've never seen the point of selecting a team, formation etc when it's not my decision to make. Klopp never listens to me anyway.

Maybe he never listens because you don't select one? You're not giving him the chance

All the time you have him in your avatar with a beard, how can he take your seriously? You're clearly devoted to his current look, even making him angelic.

I mean this as in I have facial hair, therefore I like facial hair...Not "I like facial hair" in an IBWT sorta way. <ok>

I don't mind him having a beard, it just needs trimming properly. All that hair dangling over your top lip...yeuk.

Perhaps the word has acquired a new lease of life, like R&B, which bears no relation to its erstwhile meaning.
Hipster goes back to the 40's I believe (and no, I don't remember it well) and I thought it died out sometime in the 60's.

    Like I said, perhaps it's a reincarnation.
The original was from the jazz era and referred to trendy people with pointy beards and polo-neck sweaters who nodded their heads almost imperceptibly to a beat and muttered "Yeah, that's really happening, man."
