Trouble in Manchester

It wasn’t the only act of loutish drunkenness in the Gardens last night.
A few minutes before the man urinated on the patrol car, another man was reported to be making ‘gun gestures’ to security staff.
When mounted police arrived at the scene the man is said to have ‘punched out at the horses’ and tried in vain to push them over.
It’s not thought the animals were actually harmed.
A man aged 45 was arrested on suspicion of being drunk and disorderley.
A spokesman for GMP confirmed the suspect remained in custody and will be questioned later.
