Have people actually discussed the full FA cup draw?

    Ipswich v Lincoln
    Barrow v Rochdale
    Manchester United v Reading
    Hull v Swansea
    Sunderland v Burnley
    QPR v Blackburn
    Millwall v Bournemouth
    West Ham v Manchester City
    Brighton v MK Dons/Charlton
    Blackpool v Barnsley
    Wigan v Nottm Forest
    Birmingham v Newcastle
    Chelsea v Peterborough/Notts County
    Middlesbrough v Sheff Weds
    West Brom v Derby County
    Everton v Leicester
    Liverpool v Newport/Plymouth
    Wycombe v Northampton/Stourbridge
    Watford v Burton Albion
    Preston v Arsenal
    Cardiff v Fulham
    Stoke v Wolves
    Cambridge Utd v Leeds
    Bristol City v Shrewsbury/Fleetwood
    Huddersfield v Port Vale
    Tottenham v Aston Villa
    Brentford v Halifax/Eastleigh
    Bolton v Crystal Palace
    Norwich v Southampton
    Sutton Utd v AFC Wimbledon
    Accrington v Luton
    Rotherham v Oxford/Macclesfield

There are several interesting ties in the draw but a sneaking suspicion certain teams will be actively trying to lose the ties to get out of cups.

City may get a bye off west ham as wet ham will need points more than trophies. Everton have a virtual bye to the next round by the look of it, tricky away tie for southampton

nothing else really stand out yet but there could be drame in a few... here is hoping.

Yes LFC got a good home draw this time round. we have to deliver in it though. We will no doubt see the 3 kids again... and mingolet.

Probably not, can see a relegation fighting team going far. Possibly Leicester or WHam if still fighting? In the past teams have gone onto reach the final or won the thing whilst fighting relegation.
Crystal Palace last year, Villa before that, Hull before that...Wigan!! (relegated), Portsmouth finalist (relegated), West Ham when we beat them, Newcastle in the late 90s under Guillit spring to mind.

After the last round of prem fixtures you of all should know anyone in the prem can beat anyone on their day so Everton dont have a virtual bye to the next round...
    Nice try tho...

Might as well put advertisement sandwich boards on those goal line refs for all their apparent use...

If they won the CL and got relegated, would they be allowed to defend their title?

I thought they introduced a rule (a few years ago) about teams competing in Europe must be in the top flight of their respective league?

It was more about teams winning a cup and getting relegated (Wigan)

I may have imagined this though...

tbh knowing EUFA they will interpret their mass of rules in whichever way they want but since the rule is CL winners get a place at the expense of the lowest qualifying league position team is in place i assume they would just go with that but who knows with them .
