It's most likely just me, but I can't help thinking that given the current investigations into footballers and coaches, the image on the right could perhaps have been different. It's like the ones on stranger danger from a few years back.

Excellent stuff. Is there going to be a series? There is plenty of ammunition after all.

Hull City fans take out giant billboard to protest against owners

Hull City fans have paid for a billboard advertisement on one of the busiest roads in Hull as part of their protest against the club's ownership.

The Hull City Supporters Trust (HCST) have taken out a month long advertisement on the junction of Anlaby Road and Argyle Street in Hull.

The billboard features a quote from City vice chairman Ehab Allam stating "we do not believe that constantly raising prices is a viable long-term option" and goes on to highlight what the Trust claims are the differential in season pass prices for juniors from 2013 through to the current membership scheme for this season.

Geoff Bielby, chair of the HCST says the advertisement is about the Trust's desire to see a "regime change" at the club and is a new direction the group want to take following the Red card protests inside the stadium last season.

"Fans are calling for protests against the owners, but as a Trust we recognised there is no point in staging a matchday protest because so many disenfranchised fans are staying away as is evident by the dropping attendances," Mr Bielby told the Mail.

"We have informed the club that we are backing the team but not the regime.

"We are behind the club reducing adult ticket prices which are too much, but the membership scheme has been a disaster and the most loyal fans in seniors have been priced out. Those who have done the hard yards. Then we have young fans, who parents simply cannot afford to take anymore.

"What we want to do with this advertisement is take our message beyond social media and show what we feel are empty promises by the owners. By using the quotes made by the owners we want to ask Ehab why these have not been followed through."

Hull City declined to comment on the billboard but have stated in the past that they believe the membership plan was designed to offer the majority of fans a better deal on passes.

So giving Hull City (nil) a wide berth is now called being 'Disenfranchised' is it?

GTF...hope you have a better view up there now lads..

Very good. Though it does show our tickets were too low as well. They never got the balance right.

    Agree with dutch too.

Good point with social media, it might be the in thing but it looks like a bunch of smug ****s at times. imho

I love the sign. Are the arrows just arrows? If they're supposed to be the mathematical symbols, they're the wrong way around.

Cracking stuff, anything that makes the Allams look like the thundercunts they are gets a huge thumbs up from me.

Guarantee there's a City ad there in a months' time though, saying how 'cheap' tickets are.

I played no part in the design, but I think they're just arrows.

Sad state of affairs when you can't show a picture of a father and his small son without comments like this cropping up.

Having just dropped 500 quid for three games at Xmas I am now thinking that money would have been better off spent funding a series of these boards across the City. No idea how much they cost but I would be willing to donate 100 pounds towards the next in the series. Any chance HCST will set up a crowdfunding scheme so similar minded folk can donate?

He is right though. They are a mathematical symbol.nNot that a lot of people passing by would probably know.
    Still a brilliant poster though.

I would like one of Ehab looking at his smuggest with a speech bubble with "I will do what is morally correct for me" with a background of people locked out of the arena.
