    The Victorians actually spelt it that way such was their exceptionally liberal view of homosexuality. Sometimes it wasn't even worthy of a death sentence.

    Whatever, your post is more rant than actual sense as far as I am concerned, with my responses largely ignored.
    I said I agreed with Carneys comments, you responded by saying employment was never higher. You said Carney comment was sensationalised, I said his comments weren't, stop for a second and you might realise we agreed that it was the press that sensationalised his comments. I thought this one was done but as you continued I felt the need to highlight that there was history to his words.
    My point was and still is that your point that more leisure for working class will not be caused by this ( again stop for a minute and you will see we agreed ).

    My next step was to say I beleived a change to society is coming and that it will be via autonomous vehicles. Every argument against I addressed in as balanced a way as I could, considering you provided nothing to support them ( and still haven't )
    A few points.
    I didn't claim you said the technology was fully mature.
    My background is in software development and that is where the sea change has occurred. It is why I say the method of instructing today's autonomous cars is based on an AI model did not exist before 2005.
    I have never denied autonomous vehicle research existed prior to this date but I do maintain its method of achieving it is obsolete (ie trying to write software for every eventuality instead of setting parameters for the software to resolve the best solution itself).
    My view of what autonomous vehicles will look like hasn't changed at any point and I pointed out that I expected two distinct paths towards it based on the existing projects in autonomous only and mixed environments that are currently taking place.
    Taxis and shared car services are absolutely at the forefront of this technology and certainly not the hardest parts, particularly as they are in city environment where speeds are lower and the route is generally shorter and defined before the journey commences.
    Goods transport is not necessarily door to door and much of the current research is between distribution centres.
    I dismiss your infrastructure arguments because the learning model now used has been proved capable of handling it, much to your annoyance, it is not the layout of roads that is the problem, it is the actions of other vehicles on the road.

    If no manufacturer is looking to release an autonomous vehicle until 2021 then why would anyone bet they will be commonplace sooner?

    The link you posted was top of the page <laugh>

    You saw what you thought might be an opportunity to be a clever ****, despite knowing absolutely **** all about the subject, hit Google and went with article No.1 - seemingly without even bothering to read the challenges to that piece, nor read any others

    As a result you've made an absolute helmet of yourself again Sarge, you complete fraud

    Labour's motion, tabled by leader Jeremy Corbyn and shadow Brexit secretary Sir Keir Starmer, will be vited on Wednesday. It reads:

    'That this House recognises that leaving the EU is the defining issue facing the UK;

    'Believes that there should be a full and transparent debate on the Government's plan for leaving the EU;

    'And calls on the Prime Minister to ensure that this House is able properly to scrutinise that plan for leaving the EU before Article 50 is invoked;

    'And believes that the process should should be undertaken in such a way that respects the decision of the people when they voted to leave the EU on 23 June and does not undermine the negotiating position of the Government as negotiations are entered into which will take place after Article 50 has been triggered.'

    The Government amendment, if accepted, would add:

    'Consistently with the principles agreed unanimously by this House on 12 October;

    'Expects that this House will respect the wishes of the UK as expressed in the referendum on 23 June;

    'And further calls on the Government to invoke Article 50 by 31 March 2017.'
