Chelsea's amazing new formation didn't last 12 minutes the first time they came up against a proper team

[HASHTAG]#calledit[/HASHTAG] [HASHTAG]#footballgenius[/HASHTAG]

you make HIAG look sane.

Bit early..form says Chelsea but form dips..think it's between the current top 4, with Chelsea, City and Arsenal more favoured due to deeper, better squads.

As I said on match thread..if our first choice 11 stay fit they can match any of the other 3 game to game...keeping them fit? that's the question.

Nothing changes for me - we're good enough for top 4. That should be priority this season - getting CL will enable us to get the better players and build a stronger squad for the coming seasons.

Going on form about four weeks ago it was Man City (same point last season too).

There is a hell of a long way to go yet. Especially if we manage to win the League Cup; its always a negative on league form.

City and Chelsea have won both the league cup and title in the same season in the last 3 years (admittedly with bigger and arguably better squads) but it can be done.

I honestly think the league cup would be a distraction. We might get through to Wembley after we dispose of the saints. Our league form will suffer because our squad depth is not as big as the other top clubs. We have to prioritise.

Disagree (for now). Chelsea are currently in the position Man Utd were some weeks ago. Everything looking to be on the up because they'd played **** all.

The only top teams Chelsea have played are us (we battered them) and Arsenal (who humiliated them).

Let's see how things look after 3 games when they'll play Middlesbrough, Spurs, Man City.

<doh>

standard astro talk, putting reverse jinxes on us
In fairness we may have lost in those games in the matches he watched.
He doesn't watch football, he watches Astroball, where penalties don't count, second goals don't count and every challenge results in a red card.
His league table looks completely different to the ACTUAL table. Where his is just convoluted and edited in whatever way puts Liverpool on the top.

If you can understand it can you also translate mitotalk?

No denying that mate, was just saying it can be a distraction. It was for us the last time we won it

I don't get this "prioritise" business. Put all your eggs in one basket, what happens when you drop the basket?
Last year being only the most recent example.

Try to win every game, one game at a time.

I totally agree

I thin theres a lot of dogs chasing cars.

they chase 4th then don't know what the **** they can do with it once they get it.

The word yesterday was klopp is making the team play every Wednesday 11 v 11 according to lallana at 100%.. whatever that means. We are simply prepping for europe and cups all the time.

Teams like leicester will dump the fa cup in January... just you watch everton have a virtual bye to the 4th round.

1 time in 100 an odd ball team will acheive in the league IF all the best teams all fail.. fine ok... but if you don't say hey this is a club that win things you might as well **** off and suppport spurs.

If LFC manager says this is no important.. we got a decent league position and made money i will stop supporting the the club.. why COS ITS NOT ****ING LIVERPOOL ANY MORE.

It doesn't matter how **** we are i nreality if we still aspire to doing something. Settling for 4th is not for me.

Ideally we should go for all the trophies we can get. Of course. But pragmatically and realistically, the players below our first eleven are not as good as our regulars. Which means that it would be absolutely self defeating IMO for this season when we have such a good chance of winning the league that we also try to win the EFL when we know full well that the chances are not that great (Saints and Mancs stand in our way). It does not need to be forever, just for this season only.

When we reinforce and get a stronger sqaud we could then go for all trophies on an equal footing.
