New goalie in January? http://www.watfordobserver.co.uk/sport/14948667.Hornets_on_the_lookout_for_new_keeper_in_January/
I wonder what is not so good about Pantilimon... or perhaps he wants first team football... How long can we expect Gomes to play for?
At the other end of the experience spectrum, anyone know how good any of the keepers listed as part of the U23 squad are?
The Under 18s goalie has done well in the past 2 games under a lot of pressure - even when giving away 5 goals v Norwich!!!

Henri Lansbury to return? http://www.nottinghampost.com/notti...e-to-watford/story-30006716-detail/story.html Currently out injured so seems to fit the profile...
Not sure we should be looking to loan defenders out given our record of them getting banned or injured! http://www.watfordobserver.co.uk/sp...n_deal_for_Hornets_defender_Kabasele/?ref=rss
It does seem a bit of a strange decision if true but of course we are not privy to plans for any potential signings.
Kevin Affleck has got a piece on this on WD Sport this morning. Apparently a straight choice between us and Newcastle. What I can't remember is how good he is now? Is he tearing up the Championship?
KA says that "crucially, he will be able to come in and hit the ground running and not require a period of acclimatisation." - totally ignoring the fact that he hasn't played since November due to a knee injury. Whilst I think he would be a reasonable acquisition, is another injured player really what we want or need at the moment? It's hard to go on stats alone I suppose, but prior to injury he had played 17 matches and scored 6 times - including a hat-trick against Barnsley. An English Capoue...
An old face might come back in Berghuis although he might prefer to stay at the Dutch league leaders rather than sit on our bench
If you were either Lansbury or Berghuis, wouldn´t you wonder if you were being signed just to shore up the midfield until everyone else gets back fit?
Well looking at Berghuis' stats at Feyenoord, that's how he mainly appears to used there. He'll have a chance to cement a place if he comes here, I'd imagine. Although the term 'talented but lightweight' niggles...
True - would he just be cover for Amrabat? We have actually spent a lot of money on these players of course so they need to come good at some point. I am sure the spending is under control and we have 100 million from the Premier league though...
