Well, that's quite controversial, and if true would definitely provide precedence, so long as it is proveable. Mutu actually failed an official random drugs test and I haven't heard any official statement from any testing body to say the same has happened here.
Why hasn't he failed a drugs test then? Bullard's a pisshead. The drugs are all rumours, there's surely no way a pro-footballer can take drugs without being pulled these days.
Just have done with it, I agree, surely any legal fees/ settlements if we had to pay them would be less than the tw@s getting in off his contract, absolute tool who holds his club and fans in contempt, get shot!
If we manage to sack him or not is not always down to who is right and who is wrong but how the procedures have been done. Only last week I heard of a case through work where a company sacked a bloke for steeling and he went to prison for 6 months but got released after 2 months he then went and claimed unfare dismissal and won on a technicality. This could be very costly for us as if it goes to an employment tribuneral, even if you win you cant claim your costs back - Im no lawyer but I think thats the case
I think the end result will be that Bullard will leave and get a pay off but a smaller one than he would like. Nobody knows how it would go in court and it would no doubt get very expensive.
Hopefully this long drawn out saga will finally be resolved. If he was a man who cared about his football then he'd have moved on as there is no future for him here. He might not have got the money he ahd here, but being a footballer i can't imagine his wage anywhere else would be too shoddy, to joe public anyway.
Bullard knows he's finished as a top class footballer, and thats probably why he don't give a ****. He's after as much cash as he can get before his knees fall to bits, personally I would be willing to kneecap the **** if the Allams want to pay me......forget that I'll do it for nowt. Do you think he's always been a **** and managers have put up with him cause he was fit and playing? Or as he just become a **** since his injuries started to affect his appearences and he knew he was ****ed?
True. But this is to Hull Citys advantage. Time to call Bullards bluff. AA said on the radio he would no longer pay anyone if they dont play for Hull City. So, In wednesdays meeting City tell Bullard that he is sacked and can go wherever he wants. BUT...if he wants to challenge this in court then City dont release his playing registration and Bullard simply sits. have this tied up within the court system. Matters like this take months to get a hearing. City can simply delay and delay as when they like. Then who loses ? Bullard. No pay and No club. If A.Allam is the man we all think he is then he and his lawyers will play hardball. Time to send out a message and the time is now. imo.
If its drugs then he is off... If violence/threats of violence he is off (gross misconduct)... If its hookers would be hard to sack him, maybe brining club into disrepute... If it is turning up frequently late/drunk, decent chance of breach of contract... Since nobody knows for certain we will have to wait to Wednesday My money is on him been released (with a minimal pay off) with a non-disclosure policy from both parties. Would leave him free to sign on for some other fools
IF we do and they do win then Allams should be given the freedom of the city. It also frees up alot of money for players who do want to come to the club. Its a win win.
As I've said before, I wouldn't hold out for any extra faces coming in on the back of Bullard's potential removal this transfer window.
agree sorta, allams are paying for him themselves, i cant see allams putting much in, but it does free us up a bit more to ask them for money if we do need things, they'll be saving a large amount.
a new caravan, a bag of pegs & a couple of hedgehog pies should swing it......as was said in "Snatch" - I hate f**king p****s.....................sure you can fill in the blanks..............
