I find it quite funny that some of you keep saying it's £12m for a league one player who has started just 20 games or so. And we should all be laughing to the banks etc. Who are you kidding? You all know full well he is far more than your average league one player, he's prem quality already.
If he had stayed with us you'd all be over the moon and now he's gone we didn't need him anyway? Crazy.

Arsenal have grabbed a bargain (he's 10x the player Walcott is/was) and we have lost a fantastic footballer.

Not the clubs fault of course but still not happy...

I think the ones that are pissed off the most must have bought the new shirts, and paid a fortune to have OXLADE-CHAMBERLAIN on the back.
Good luck to the lad,if he hadnt signed the 3 year contract we wouldnt have got anything like 12 million for him.
He may have gone about it the wrong way,but he was always going to go,and well done to Cortese for sticking it to Arsenal, and making them pay way over the odds for a 17 year old.

What must our transfer budget be looking like now? Heard rumours it was £5 million at the start of the window, -£750k for Cork and around £1 million for De Ridder, +£750k for Puncheon and £7 million for Chamberlain, leaves us at.... £11 million (if Adkins gets all of the Chamberlain downpayment)

If he wants to go let him. No point having an unhappy player who thinks he is above playing for our club. As an earlier poster said, no one is bigger than the club. Dont stress yourself hating the lad, its just the way football is. Time will tell whether we got a good deal from it.

Good luck Alex. I would have liked to have seen you take us to the Prem, but not tone. A fantastic opportunity for him. I hope he sets the place alight and gets in the England team. I'll be proud to say that we've introduced another great player to the world.

Well done Nicola if you get good dosh for him.

And Alex, if ut doesn't work outcan you come back on the cheap?

Hey, he's certainly not what I want! I've posted it on the Arsenal forum and can't be arsed to repeat it. No gripes with AOC at all, just not what the club need right now. However, if the best you can come up with is ***** jokes though then I feel sorry for you.

Going back to my original point, I'm annoyed at arsenals attitude with youth players. They play within the rules that the FA lay down, but these rules are weighted in favour of the big clubs. They are made by the FA to keep the Premier League onside as they want the best players in the PL to line their pockets and the pockets of those running the PL. Arsenal exploit these ridiculous rules but then bleat constantly about their players being tapped up by someone else.... I hate arsenes cocky attitude, and I hate the fact the FA are complicit in lining the big 6 clubs pockets... End of

It just frustrates me at how easily Arsenal think they can get youth players. They still owe us £4million on the Walcott deal!
