Same as Fuchs so at least his poor decisions are consistent. Both great tackles, both booked when it wasn't even a foul. Don't think Papy was fouled though, he just won a fair tackle. Same for Fuchs.

Looked like Okazaki (whatever it was) went in late on Djilobodji but maybe wrong. Just seen the Fuchs one and it was a great tackle too! Caught Watmore but not with the intent it looked at the match. We could easily have had two pens at least as well

The PVA penner apeal was 100% nailed on.

PVA's was a penner all day long.

After watching the full match, what a change.
Much stronger at the back. JellyBaby was much more assured, and Kone back to his better self.

We dominated for a change, but still lacking final cohesiveness/slickness going forward. Dong gave possession away needlessly at times, which needs improving, as a better team could have punished us.

Hopefully big Jan brings us the composure we need there. Piennar was great first half til he got forearmed in the face. Big Vic toppers throughout.

Lots of positives, and team play is improving significantly. Bring on Swansea.....

Not sure what constitutes a penalty in the eyes of Mariner. PVA was tripped inside the box....was possibly the easiest decision this moron had to make all day and he blew it.

Good performance today. Looked solid and went after Leicester from the off. Took the game to them which is what I like to see at the SOL. Totally different dynamic now with Anichebe upfront with Defoe. Must admit I thought Moyes should have gone after 10 games and 2 points so I'm holding my hands up on that one. 9 from 12 will do nicely. How PVA didn't get a penalty for that one I will never know. Right in front of Marriner. Let's get a few more points before the window and strengthen for our push into mid table. Ha way the lads!!

Looking like a decent £8m now isn't he? His passing us immense too. Cracking left foot diagonals yesterday. Sad thing is, if he keeps playing well, Senegal will want him

That's 2 in our last 2 home games. Luckily had no impact on the outcome (Marriner will be gutted)

On MOTD, Shearer said we were brilliant. We must be doing something right !

Catts wasn`t there to be sent off so he had to do something to cheer himself up.

Blind side of the ref as his body hid the bottom foot and at grass level, bit like Kone on Alexis. The more obvious one he could have looked at closer was the way Vic was manhandled by two defenders in the first half.

The ref had 3 players between himself and the penalty incident. Poor positioning is why he missed it.

You guys were the better team, what a turn around in the last month!!

Cracking result, only one win from low-mid-table and that seemed a light-year away a month ago. Anichebe and Defoe, what a find!

I've always thought Shearer was pretty fair with his comments on MotD to be honest. A lot has been made in the past over him not going on when the derby is on but would you trust yourself to be impartial? He's not the best pundit but he's a long way from the worst.

I thought our Fullback's played great on Saturday. Our RB's might struggle for awhile without the tireless Duncan Watmore to help out.

I don't know when he's back or whether the injury will have affected him but Borini was as good at tracking back as Watmore so hopefully the transition won't be too bad.

He's always been fair, credit where it's due.

Still wears a ****ers hat, though - just not on MOTD.
