DEFINING MOMENT declared at Lingfield tomorrow. I put it up recently and it was gambled but then withdrawn. DERVISH is interesting in the opener. Cumani does well with his juveniles here and the trainer/jockey combination recently had a 2yo debutante winner. Currently 14/1.
Ludlow off, that's a shame. Stick was Defining Moment entered over 5f the last day when it was pulled?
loveatfirstsight been backed this morning - first run in a handicap for the in form Attwater yard !!!!!
2 30 Lingfield - Sign of the Kodiac 16/1, tough race but huge price, and form figures on AW read 21212221 Should be at least good for a place
different grade though Chelsea , I've gone for Amanda perratt's outsider in that - but lingfield is a funny track , lots of luck /hard luck stories there , remember the first surface that was there , the kickback was so bad no horse wanted to face it -- so a front runner would blast off and make all --good while it lasted ..... Brian Meehan used to exploit it well I recall ...
Its one of Michaels nicer horses mate. First time in a handicap so not too sure if they think she is on the right mark as she has some fair form in maidens. Nice little race for her though a "fillies" handicap. I have sent the message for info but no reply as yet. She is owned by Michael Squance who used to train himself at Newmarket! If I hear anything I will be back on!
It's won similar level races before though mate, plus it's one of only two 3 year olds in the race so gets a nice weight allowance, fancy it to run well. Amanda Perrett had a 33/1 outsider winner at Huntingdon over the jumps yesterday!
Yeah, was disappointed he couldn’t win that heat although the front 3 did pull 26 lengths clear of the 4th. Don’t think the form is that bad though but ultimately I would have expected Corrin Wood to have won the race off just 124. He may get a slight rise (or remain on this figure) so is still ultimately I think well treated. I’m not one to diss jockeys (as far as I'm aware I've never done this in fact) but would certainly recommend they put someone more experienced up top next time. Is Bridget Andrews in someway linked to the owners (let me make it clear that I’m not suggesting anything scandalous or insalubrious, for one minute, incidentally) as she’s now ridden Corrin Wood on both appearances for the Skelton stable???
Cor blimey is she! You learn something new every day. As one of those Chav types might say, ‘Harry is most deffo batting above his average there’.
