I have no idea, not an area I know anything about. Like all things, I guess it will include some posturing from all sides. However, after the Greece bailout the EU set new rules, which it may well have to break. This will ultimately harm the EU's credibility and in the case of Brexit, where it needs to show solidarity, could work in the UK's favour.
I guess the main harm, initially, will be how the markets react. Pound up against the Euro already.

Looking around a few foreign news channels, and the centre of the EU appears to consider a pro-European feeling as being pro-EU, which in it's current form, is far from being a clear truth.

All the time they do this, the EU gets more vulnerable to collapse.

Many seem to favour the common market that it was initially sold as, not the bureaucratic monolith it has become.

    Sarah Montague interviewed Arlene Foster.
SM: The people of Northern Ireland decided that they wanted to be part of the EU
AF: That's wrong. We were asked a specific question as to whether we wanted the UK to remain part of the EU. We weren't asked if we wanted Northern Ireland to remain part of the EU.
    I like Arlene Foster!

Those two statements are both true as they're answering different questions.

    Not really.

Referendum was UK based one, not a country specific one.

Yes, thanks for that. The statement is still true. NI voted in, Boston voted out, Kensington voted in, Mrs Smith from Huddersfield out.

Mrs Smith did not vote, but Master Bates from Watford voted out, but did not want out.

I can see why you like her, as she shares your love of pedantry and trying to hide behind semantics.

The people of NI collectively voted to stay in the EU. Unfortunately for them the overall vote for the entire UK went against their view, but it's a fact that as a Nation within the Union, NI voted to remain. Only an idiot would argue otherwise.

Master Bates wishes to retain free trade rather than boot out the foreigners.

Farage slammed by the far right Austrians post their defeat.

Anton Mahdalik, a Freedom party member of the Vienna city council, criticised former Ukip leader Nigel Farage for contributing to the party’s defeat after claiming on Fox News that Hofer would hold a referendum on Austria leaving the EU. “That didn’t help us, it hindered us,” he said, saying that an overwhelming majority of Austrians support EU membership.
Hofer himself described Farage’s comments as a “crass misjudgment”, adding that “it doesn’t fill me with joy when someone meddles from outside”.

But he voted to leave the EU, as the remainers said, vote leave is to leave everything, see Clegg, Cameron and Giddion for that.

Master Bates must be very dim to think otherwise.

Master Bates can clearly see into the future then as such a scenario is looking unlikely.

There is a European free trade zone from Iceland to the Russian border and we will be part of it

    http://www.voteleavetakecontrol.org/briefing_newdeal.html

Iceland is part of the EEA and has open borders under the Schengen agreement.

That is what Leave campaigned on, the likes of Hartley Brewer should check their facts.

Obviously not, as he would have read what the gov said in the pamphlet that was sent around to all households.

That is assuming your mommy and daddy let you read it, as some of the words are quite big and may be hard for a snowflake to understand.

Don't you think it was the people advocating leave that determined what a vote leave would look like?

All those who advocated remain could do was point to the potential impact of leave. Same is true for the leave campaigns claims that Turkey will join etc.
You only have to listen to Hannan, Boris and Gove to know the establishment leave campaign was clear it wanted to retain tariff free access to single market and buy into the EU bodies that benefit us.

You struggle with three letter words. Master Bates is better at his second language than you are at English.

Shame that you didn't get one of your kids to read it to you, as where does it say definitively that we'd not try to retain single market access?

It simply spells out the facts and the difficulties and realities of what trying to retain access to the single market would be if we voted out.
