Costa is injured. Looks like his hamstring.

hope it isn't too bad.

Bravo could have prevented all 3 of those goals.
I will be disappointed if Thibo does that.

what a brain Cescy has - before passing it to Alonso he was pointing out to pick out Hazard - immense footballing brain.

If only he had fraction of his brain strength in his legs.

that KDB's miss turned the tide.
We rode our luck - but we need that when Cahill is playing with that ominous touch <laugh>

Willian gave us a great dimension.

Agreed, we seemed to control the game more. Thats something Willian offers compared to Pedro, more possession of the ball. Was a cracking run from him as well.

Personally i thought their keeper could and probably should have saved 2 of them (costas and willians). Just poor positioning and body shape. I think i would have preferred willian in the centre over fabregas and put pedro on the wings.

Cahill and Alonso looked really poor defensively today. In these top matches they will be found out

Happy bunny!!!.... We were a tad lucky today, but who gives a ****!!.We missed Matic big time
and for me Kante wasn't so good without him.Our defence looked shaky at times but up against
Aguero,KDB and Silva.Maybe Luiz was lucky to stay on but thought he was fantastic AGAIN.
COYB'S!!!

Glad to be proved wrong here!
Thought we would lose this.
City were unlucky on a few chances. KDB missed a sitter, and Luiz made some awesome blocks to keep us in it.
But overall we did enough to win the game.
Costa, Hazard, Willian and Luiz were all great.
City kinda took a page from the Spurs book and lost their **** at the end, mental weakness! But we won an extremely important fixture, maybe the toughest of the season, City away!

COYB!

Good Game Good Game. For us the down from the first half made the result sweeter. I think Pep's take after the match explains it pretty much, except I do think the ref and his team had a shocker but Pep can not say that, which I think is wrong. He also has to cover Aguero's arse when we all know he took matters into his own two feet. Again the ref has to take a small portion of the blame for whenever players feel hard done by to that extent.

I don't think Citeh will struggle with out him during any ban. He is their best but they have plenty of other ammunition.

Happy bunny here, and I refer you gentlemen to post No3 on this thread.
Take another 10 bob a week, perfect summary. I liked the way we fought like tigers when City were really putting it to us. Overall, we outplayed them with a couple of really brilliant moves. Cahill made a mess of that clearance, but he did plenty of good work as well. Luiz, what a different player his is now, tough, clever and on top of everything thrown at him ( or kicked at him ) !!!
Not a match to criticise anyone for, another really inspired team effort. Conte has made teamwork and fighting for each other the core of our team, and all the better we are for it.

Anything and I mean anything from this one, even a close game will be a bonus. Spuds pushed us at home, Citeh at their place will be harder for sure. Now then, on the positive side. Looking forward to Matic v Toure (If he is picked). Matic seemed to up his game when faced with the little eared one, if he can win that battle then we are 50% there, the other 50%, and for the oxymoron lovers a big 50%. Keep Aguero quiet. Luiz is vastly experienced with marking him so I would do a man for man and ask Cahill to drop in behind to mop up the misses that Luiz may make. I wouldn't mind if LUIZ DOES NOTHING ELSE ALL DAY, so long as that pocket battleship doesn't register. Debryune is an enigma hope he has a bad one. Now then, scoring at The Ethiad. Costa seems to be knitting in with everyone at the moment whilst scoring at a reasonable rate and I am loving his discipline under Conte'. Pedro is a bonus and against the lower half of the league he is a starter, but tomorrow we need a better ball retention rate, so only just, Willian for me has to start. Hazard is, well, Hazard. If he turns up and wants this as badly as we do, the game is almost won. Kante' and Dave are pencilled in before next week's game is played, and the rest of the season should they stay fit. Onwards and.............can you get any higher, numero une FORZA AZURRE'

Well written Sir.......you were certainly absolutely right about Luiz's ability of marking Aguero out of the game.
