    Can you blame him? I'm sure you'll be getting quite a tasty transfer fee aswell. If you're struggling to think who it could be spent on, I've heard Billy Paynter can do a job on the wing <whistle>.

    If I were Oxo I would prefer to play football in the Championship for 1 season.He is overated and his carrer will go downhill from now on.

    If he goes, fair enough, that his choice, I will be a wee bit gutted because I won't be able to see the best of him, assuming that he doesn't spend the next eighteen months on a subs bench, always assuming he doesn't pick up a major injury which could cut his career off in its prime, I wouldn't wish ill on him at all and I deplore the vindictive nature of some on here, no matter how much you care for the Club, this nastiness is not Saintly, and one player will never be more important than the team.
    Always the chance he may fail the medical, if there actually is one. I will believe it if I see it on the OS. No other media will know the truth before it happens.

    Nothing really happening. West Ham made an offer, we rejected it, he said he wants to stay but hasn't been offered a contract, we say he will be soon but his initial demands are too high and negotiation will be needed, and that's it so far.

    The guy who does the Football Manager ratings and stuff for Southampton has just tweeted that he should put Mark Chamberlain on the 'disliked personal' for Southampton!! haha, now that would be funny!!

    If he's injured, can he pass a medical?

    Good luck to him whatever happens. If he does go, let's hope Owen Coyle or someone similar gets on the blower to take him on loan because reserve football won't do him good.
