Ristac was right out stickies were and are stale. The jukebox thread has run its course and all the ****e rickabilly stuff is still available on youtube if they are tonedeaf? The wallie village people lookalike thread is over. Isnt it about time we celebrated our change in fortune by replacing both the above with a "rival watch" thread... Snippets, news on updates on those we are competing with for a place in the premier league. Rafas imminent sacking (eire) the fall and fall of brighton (sniffer) are already items we should all be aware of.
We do need some more new blood, that is true, but I don't feel unsticking some threads is the answer, though I love your idea about a rivals watch. Who here advertises the board? For instance, those of you on twitter, did you know at the bottom left hand side of each thread, there is a tweet button which automatically sends the title of the thread, as well as the thread itself (all done in one click). Glory, perhaps we should get you back on twitter?
No mate. Twittr is too pc and too public for my brand of discussion. Besides mrs glory didnt like me getting pally with mrs Razor Ruddock Ffs get the movember bollix unstickied... The rival watch thread would be a statement of intent... Time to look outwards instead of inwards after a decade of soul searching... Plus we might get some more interaction from fans of other big clubs as we start to forget we ever played the wallies.... Bet we draw them in the cup...
Never understood why we have a stickied jukebox thread, looking back over that last dozen pages of it andI would say only three or four people actually post music clips in it
I didn't even know that sticky was there. Rivals thread would be good, or just a general footy thread. I mean, we could have a continued hearty LOL at Fellaini and Liverpools avant garde approach to goalkeepers.
Trouble with that is only Newcastle and Norwich have a decent amount of posters, all the other teams who are up there have got boards like Millwall's, full of tumbleweed
Yeah Razor was also shocked when Piers Morgan tried to take on old glory via twitter. Then there was Noel Hunt @wagethief Perhaps i should go back after all!
Maybe the wallies could generate some traffic by inviting their rivals Tooting and Mitcham Walton and Hersham Leatherhead Dartford and many more of similar ilk...
