Oh FFS. Are you arguing with me that 3 teams who used to play in the same league together,div2!!!! and 2 of them got backed one didn't. It helps coming from London or Manchester, we know that and we don't have the same problems bmth do. They are what the prem should be about. but they are far from rich FFS.
Thought it was a penalty at first, but the replay shows he threw himself to the ground too much. He would have done better to stumble and not dive around
MITO that is what i was talking about yesterday about good refereeing without the need for cards and calming things down. Cook fouled, not his first, stopped the game - had the chat and poured water on the fire. That is what Taylor was not doing yesterday and in many other games I have seen him ref.
Mané has been poor other than his goal. So slow on the ball. Use your ****ing pace and run at them or give the quick pass
100% disagree. Almost a year ago, Alan Smith when Joe Allen was taken knee high at Stoke in the LC semi, "There's contact at the knees, but that's never enough for a pen' (Tobes was in full agreement). Ake thought Geronimo was going to trip him and was already flying in mid air when HE threw his knee into Firmino. Alan Smith is diabolical - he was saying it was certain pen before he saw a replay, then toning it down when he saw the contact.
Not sure where he's playing. At times he looks like the head of the diamond, at others he's right half. Next goal is all-important.
You know the problem with your point? Alan Smith and tobes in agreement One of ours would have had to have broken a leg for them to begrudgingly admit anything.
Alan Smith also played football when physical contact was allowed. That's no longer the case and it should have been have penalty.
The contact ws by who on whom? And the point about contact and Alan Smith is about how inconsistent he can be in just one year, never mind decades ago.
