And to the useless ****ing ref who took no action for it!!! Wouldn't mind betting that the press focus on the Dele 'dive' and completely overlook the challenge and the fact that Swansea should have been down to 10 from the 15th minute......
Great win Rose wasn't by our best player on the day but he showed how much we missed him against Chelsea. I know Davies didn't play in that game but I really think we need to be identifying a more similar backup, it hurts us whenever Rose doesn't play. Kane's now 5 in 4 since coming back, how we've missed him too! coys!
Oh look... http://www.walesonline.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/bt-sport-pundit-john-hartson-12269183 http://www.footballinsider247.com/arsenal-fans-react-on-twitter-to-dele-alli-theatrics/
Didn't have to be Mystic Meg to predict that reaction Problem is, it was a dive and he has got previous. Really needs to get this out of his game as it seems to distract him from actually playing football.
A good performance against a poor team. Not necessarily champagne football but so much better . Nice one Cyril. Keep it up Sid has been to a Christmas agricultural show today . Highly enjoyable as Plucky the old Gloucestershire spot came second of show .
TBF Naughton looked devastated, they both went quite high but Walker came off worse. Accidental but still dangerous play.
Its interesting that the Wales website doesn't mention that fellow welshman Savage thought it was clever play and a penalty (not that means much) and Mr Webb suggested that it was neither dive or penalty. He also reminded Hartson that Swansea should have been reduced to 10 men after 15 mins!
Well done , I was hoping you guys would get back on track next game but knew it coming sometime . The confidence from this game will go a long way . PS ... academy award for the penalty ....
The "incident" was in the 6th minute not the 15th. Looking at the collision carefully, I'm thinking that Walker might have been kicked twice in the head by both feet, the first the initial impact but then if you look carefully the guy kind of flips over backward and may kick him again with his trailing leg - which might actually be the one that does the damage. My other thought is that Walker's reaction is what happens when you are really hurt. Compare that to people that are feigning injury who spend a lot of energy rolling around acting. A 100% certain red card, doesn't matter how intentional it was. As far as I know that isn't a defence for kicking someone in the head. But go ahead and give Dembele a six match ban for something that had no effect on the other player whatsoever compared to something that could have done serious injury.
He also picked up an injury to his hand or wrist in the same incident...... anyone see how that happened?
