Saints are like Forrest Gump`s box of chocolates. Anyway, that`s all our defensive howlers out of the way before Thursday.
Yes it is obvious we need another striker, but Until January nothing will happen. I am not happy that Saints lost, but some people on this board over react, we have lost plenty of games in the past that we should have won, but we have also won many games we should not have. Its football and that happens. At the end of the day there are a many more things in the world to be worried about. Although a smug Pardew does upset me
To me it's not about another striker, but about our system, which is not adventurous to say the least. Different striker won't change that.
How can you not care about the EFL? Cups are the only way we can continue our progression this season, and if we are to get raided again in the summer, then I'm all for the club going balls out to win one or even get to a final as that would be a special achievement on its own. #screwleagueposition
I agree, but people are entitled to react how they like. Just because worse stuff happens in the world doesn't mean you can't be upset about stuff that means something to you.
League position is more important for me, also gives you more money. Players are attracted to teams that finish high in the league.
I feel the opposite. Its not like we need money, we don't spend what we make. The top five look far too strong. We'd be battling Everton for 8th.
Nail on head.there have been parts of game were we play with alot more speed and intent.thata when we look good
Would like to see it again to be sure but i think that the ball jumped just before forster hit the ball(or not in this case )
Agreed. The most telling part for me was when we had a freekick in the 2nd half (just past the half way line I think) and our players first reaction was to point and encourage it being passed back. Not really what you want when you're a goal or two down.
No, that's good, he's protecting his player. Frazer will be having nightmares about the miss kick anyway.
Oh I'm sure the pitch probably was, but I think he was just trying to be too clever. The commentator said he's right footed too, so he could have just smashed it rather than let it roll past him.
