Wasn't suggesting to the contrary. Looks like a rabbit caught in the headlights when he came on, but the contribution has to be acknowledged for balance. The run was excellent at least.

 

But not without showing some pure Pulis tactics. Getting away with a blatant penalty and McClean somehow staying on despite violent conduct and getting Peryera sent off into the bargain.

 

Despite being the worst team in the world and being unable to score from open play, we're now 3 points and -1 goal difference behind Pep's champions elect who are the greatest football team the world has ever seen. We've got Harry scoring for fun and Toby back imminently. They've got Aguero and Fernandinho out for 3 games at least following today's handbags with Chelsea.

I wonder if the press will go for Citeh as a result of the appalling Aguero challenge and its aftermath, as they did for us following the Chelsea game last season? Will they ****.

A good December and we're back in the hunt. It's a long old season and we're far from dead yet.
