Still plenty of time to find replacements, no issue there.

This is probably why NA blanked talkSHIT....

This exactly. If we get £10m for him it's an amazing deal on our part for a player who is nowhere near the finished article and isn't even vital to our team. £10 million, yes please, thank you very much Arsenal!!

If we get a large portion of this transfer fee up front, just think how much Adkins could strengthen this squad even further?

I don't agree with those people who are bad-mouthing Chamberlain. If anyone was offered a better job, with better money, would you not take it? Granted, I don't think it will be good for his career, but you can't blame him.

£12 million for a kid who has never played higher than League One level? We should be delighted.

The good thing about this is that we know most of the money will be re-invested into the squad or other areas of the club.

Why sign the three-year deal if your not going to stick to it?! Glory hunting kid that thinks he better then Messi! Hope he relises that its a mistake what hes doing. If this deal happens then Arsene Wenger will keep perving up kids for ever and all clubs will go weak at the knees because Arsenal (Trophyless Arsenal) want their players.

I'm happy he has gone but angry about how he went about it,i have every right to be angry at him as have other people, you can't blame any saints fan for being angry at him,we have invested in many young players over the years and basically what have we done it for? we done it for bigger clubs who can't invest in youth themselves.I'm fed up with creating special players only for them to ****off when they want, yes we get a few million for him but i'd rather see him on our pitch.Really hope we've got something lined up quite soon because this puts a mighty cloud over the feel good factor. We need a big signing.

God sake, some of you are quite pathetic. It's football, players come and go. None of you give a **** about the fans of clubs we buy players from do you? If a player joins us, its common sense for him to do so.

For a 18 year old to join a team in the Champions League with whom he can earn 5 times what he's on at Saints... it's suddenly the end of the world and he's a traitor.

Chamberlain has showed much more maturity than probably some fans on here who are older than he is.

Good luck to the lad. History will show us if it was right or wrong for both him or Saints.

When Cortese and Liebherr took over they said that we wouldn't sell any of our youth players. If this happens then he hasn't stuck to his word - whatever Chamberlain wanted to do.

Personally I'd try and replace him with Colin Kazim-Richards. One of my favourite wingers. I bet he'd be a realistic target as well.

If we're going to get £10million+ then we better add some real Championship quality, Like Maynard/Long.

Good for you, but not everyone drip feeds off your opinion. I wish him well as I did Bale and Walcott.

    Get a grip.

Well Said. I wish him well and hope he reaches his potential!! Just disappointed he couldn't have stayed longer. Some people are saying we need a big signing now, what happened last Saturday?? We won without him. Yes we will bring someone in but we don't need to go over board to get an expensive player who will cause problems!!
