There's always the Transpennine train services leaving York on a Saturday. Hundreds of people fitting that description on there.
I'm of the opinion with it being a SF and with global viewing, there is never a better time to boycott the game. Of course, it cant happen as the plastic bandwagon will be in full swing. If we got to Wembley I'd implore everyone not to go.
Our fixtures Jan 10-Feb 11 are now Man Utd, Bournemouth, Chelsea, Man Utd, Man Utd, Liverpool, Arsenal.
Cinders and now gone to housing. It was not my scene but the lads came back with many a story, battle badge and a few nether region itches. Yarm is still a good night out and more my scene.
Good draw but im sure plenty will make excuses why they wont go. Nasty owners and all that. The Allams are ****s we all know that but support your team.
Richard Sutcliffe @RSootyYPSport Dates for Hull's League Cup semi-finals are Tues Jan 10 at Old Trafford & Thurs Jan 26 at the KCOM. ( #hcafc at Chelsea on Sun Jan 22)
The way I see things, boycotting games is the best way I can support my team. The players understand our reasons for boycotting anyway.
My initial post was harsh. I understand your reason I just can't do that I'd rather protest at the games home and away.
And that's fine by me. I don't know if anyone's noticed, but I've never had a go at anyone for still attending games. It's the most effective way of getting the Allams out imo, but that's just it, it's just my opinion. You're entitled to yours. But I do think that if attendances dropped to really ridiculous levels (7 thousand?) the Allams would feel the humiliation they deserve and move on. The only time get pissed off , Is when people say I and others are taking the easy option. "It's just an excuse to not go" etc. Trust me, there's nothing easy about missing something you've loved doing for so many years. But I'll be back, I can't ****ing wait.
You'll be back even if the new owners fail to bring back concessions, fail to offer those displaced their seats back? For me personally, boycotting home matches has never been just about the Allums - I was happy with my own personal protests but, fans booing other fans and the general apathy around the place gradually wore me down. I still get my City fix at selected away games and I can honestly say I don't miss the KC; if the new owners don't radically amend the membership scheme I'll probably never set foot in the KC again.
Honestly Spez, I don't think that will be a problem. New owners always do nice things to get fans behind them and the concessions will certainly be a priority. After the initial niceties, Who knows? We play it by ear. Allams out!
Maybe people should tell the national media why they aren't going to games , most of them mention empty seats and nothing more
