    KLOPP'S NEWS CONFERENCE.
    Adam Lallana
is back in full training ahead of Liverpool's trip to Bournemouth on Nissan Super Sunday, live on Sky Sports.
Will Jurgen Klopp bring him straight back in? We'll be hearing from him .
There's also an update on Roberto Firmino...
“Roberto trained yesterday. Still a little bit of pain but not that serious.”
KLOPP: NO SENSE IN SELLING STURRIDGE
The Liverpool boss has also responded to reports Daniel Sturridge could be sold in January....
“I don’t think it makes sense.
“Unfortunately, Daniel is not in training. That is more important than transfers."

so we are almost assured to see firmino and lallana then.

    good.

it should make picking the team a lot simpler but i do feel there will be a tempation to fit can in and wijnaludm and lallana and it'll be origi on bench.

Here are the main points from Klopp’s press conference:

    • Sturridge will miss Bournemouth clash
    • Lallana back training since yesterday - Reds will monitor fitness
    • Firmino also trained yesterday, but still has some pain
    • Klopp says Pep Ljinders provides perfect link between Melwood & Academy
    • Reds boss praises Bournemouth - “I like this sort of story”
Klopp on Ojo: "Ojo needs a lot of training. Not injured any more but he needs training, training, training and games for 2nd team." #lfc

Klopp on Origi: “He was ready for the specific moment. I think everybody could see the difference.“He is still 21, and he has had not much match time. He had very little rhythm. But always working, never moaning. It was really nice to see.”
Klopp on Origi: "Timing really important. Sunderland was 1 or 2 weeks since Divock was back in really good shape. Lucky as he was ready."

Klopp on links with the Academy: "Pep is the connection man with Academy. The Talent Group comes here each week."
Klopp: "It's 5 or 6 miles between Melwood and Kirkby but we are close. That's very important. I trust the people who work with the boys."

    Klopp on the Bournemouth story
“They are a very good side. It was one of my earlier games in the Capital One Cup?

    “it’s a clear philosophy, a clear style.

I would say not the biggest names in world football, but all of them decent players. There’s real quality.

“As long as they don’t have a lot of injury problems I would say they will do well.

“It’s not the biggest stadium in the world but it’s a nice stadium. I like stories like this.”

Klopp on defending as a team

“I never was worried about the defence performance. I respect 100 percent you have to talk about a few things, but we have to think more about it from a logical point of view - you cannot play football without conceding goals.

“Working longer together helps a lot.

Klopp on 3 clean sheets in a row: "Working longer together helps a lot. You can't put it on one player, it's about team work."

“You like to put it on one player - it would be fantastic if it works like this, but it’s a team game. Sometimes you are unlucky, like Chelsea was when Hendo scored!”

    Klopp on young players performing

“I think we are 100 percent the right club to develop young boys and be the best players they can be.

“In the end they have to perform on the pitch. When we think they are ready we will do it, but still they have to deliver.”

Klopp on working with young players

“If a player wants to develop then I don’t care for a second about their age.

They are all younger than me!
“We have a young squad. I don’t compare how old you are.”

    Klopp on developing young players
“We will probably have to do both! (Buy players and bring through young players).

Klopp: "LFC team of 2020 being just home grown players would be nice but not so nice for the other players."

“It’s our job to give them the time we need.”

Klopp on youngsters saving Liverpool money
They are involved in all our plans

Klopp on impact of #LFC kids: "We don't have to change anything cos we never forgot them. They are involved in all our plans."

“I don’t know exactly when you stop being a young player. 22, 23 is still a young player. We have a lot of them in the club.

“There will be a few ups and downs, but everything will be good in the end. We have no doubt about the potential of these young boys.”

    Klopp on Bournemouth
“Bournemouth were unlucky last week. COuld have had a penalty. Should have had a result for sure. West Ham have a lot of quality. We should not think about their position in the table.

“I can’t see it as an easy journey. They all are tough games.

“All I have to think about is Bournemouth. They have done really well. Eddie Howe is doing a fantastic job. It’s a club who knows about the difficult of the league. They are cool enough and confident enough to cause each team problems.”

Klopp on rumours of a Sturridge sale
“I don’t think it makes sense (to sell).

“Unfortunately, Daniel is not in training. That is more important than transfers.”

Klopp: "You and your colleagues create stories and then ask me about them. There is no thought of selling any player from 1st team squad."

Klopp: "I am prepared for all the things you'll ask me in January. It will be funny for sure."

    Klopp offers fitness updates
“Yes there will be a few changes.

“I am happy about each player back in training. Adam is training, yesterday was the first session. We need to see how he reacts. Yesterday was quite intense.

“Roberto (Firmino) trained yesterday. Still a little bit of pain but not that serious.”

Good point, I prefer fluidity and a 4-2 score line than biting my nails on the 70th and it's still 0-0 personally though!

He adds a lot defensively - it's why I still think he's best suited to #6 role.

To be fair, he spent all of last season playing there and now had to change position. Hopefully he can kick on.

Can gets better as the game gets on, he needs to be ready from the off. Something needs to change with his warm up or his thinking before a game starts.

Early on its like he's trying too hard physically but his brain is in another gear so it's too many touches or inaccurate or over hit balls.

Add the game goes on all this improves.

There's a player in there somewhere.

If Lallana and Firmino are fit, then the side picks itself.
Can and Gini won't both be starting, one of them to partner Hendo and Lallana in midfield
Firmino to keep the False 9 role and play Origi and Mane on the wings, besides, its not as if they stay there all game..
1st choice back 5 have had a nice rest too!
