£32m over 5 years, that's around £133k per week. That's a lot of beans for a penalty taker. Still you can always cash in when Utd sign him in a year or two.
So Levy didnt get any buyers and Kane got his deal. What I don't get is why spurs fans always think a contract extension is a moment of celebration. Who else does that? I even hear Spuds are releasing a DVD
I hate to say this, but I think it's a master stroke by Levy to keep the fans happy (to cover up not winning anything and him lining his pockets). "Let's get Dier, Kane etc signing a new contract every few months so those mugs have something to cheer about." I can't stand the slimey toad tbh. Vile individual. Absolute **** as well. Imagine doing a club 125th anniversary celebration and not inviting one of your most successful club captains to the event
Daniel Levy is a Gooner hero. The way he's shafted that club over the last couple of decades, lined his and uncle Joe's pockets, and still managed to keep the Spurs fans licking his arsehole, is nothing short of a wum miracle
If we're honest, these guys are businessmen. Levy is, and Kroenke is no different. They're in this to make money. Their love of footie, or Soccer, is non existent. Having said that, Levy hasn't done too bad a job. Yes, he's made silly mistakes, mostly managerial ones. And placed his faith in people who didn't deserve it. But generally he's advanced the club. In financial terms, we have no right to be where we are. Our net expenditure is a fraction of the so called top clubs. We've got a reasonably competitive first eleven. Ok, not too much squad depth. But on our day we can beat anybody. We've got a superb new stadium coming too. Where I'd agree is that once the new stadium comes, fans are going to want to see a team to go with it. I hope that Levy will deliver. If not, we'll be the first to give him ****..
Who you seen celebrating? Nothing to be displeased about when one of your top players signs a long contract. Is it because now you know you'll get shafted if you want to buy him
Lol folk desperately trying to carve some lame negatives out of a top player signing a bumper contract for the Spurs. Just accept it he's happy playing for the team he supports. Living his dream.
Can you prove that? I bet there are articles on most club boards discussing contract extensions when they occur. Id find them but i never find things. They got a debate about it on the radio right now. Its a talking point. A positive one for the Spurs. No one is 'celebrating'. Is it coz you fear Darth Levy and know your club are going to get rinsed if they want top man Harry?
