I would have preferred it if Johnson stayed merely because I thought he offered something to the squad but I think Brown is the DM we were missing and Clayton, even in an all round crap team performance, played some passes Killa could only dream of.
philhleeds - At the moment the only way I can see Clayton getting better is if he wears the gear pictured in your avatar and scares the opposition to death. I hope you are right about him as I don't believe he will be in the Leeds starting 11 come Christmas time. Brown I agree give him a couple more chances but as for a "better position" its like saying our midfield was ****e, now it is just poor
so the first game didnt go great so the leeds fans start fighting each other and singing songs about wanting the chairman/manager out brilliant....****ing genius.....nice bit of solidarity and making the team feel steady and supported and settled like anything, the game starts in the players minds and hearts
Yep, BJ would have been very handy to still have around. Killa cant even get into BC team, oh dear! Ristac, a ****e midfield doesnt get you to 7th in Champ. Our midfield did very well in a lot of matches, and were outplayed in others. Dems the breaks.
I have wanted the chairman out long before this, I can't stand Bates. As for annoyed about the first match, probably because all my fears came true on saturday, we haven't fixed the problems at the back, we panic signed a CB and played him LB we got stuffed 3-1 and looked piss poor all through the field
Sorry let me correct that, Johnson and Kilkenny in the middle were quite ****e although I was quite impressed with Johnson towards the end of the season.
Johnson was our player of the 2nd half of the season. Kilkenny wasnt good enough away from home. Brown isnt the answer
I agree, I don’t agree with the fighting…just dotn see the point but I do think it shoud be known that bates is not liked by a minority/majority (I don’t know which way it is split ath the moment as its forever chopping and ****ing changing) I remember when we played our first game in League One and someone flew that plane over with Bates Out banner on the back. Southend at home, Tore Flo got a cracker? I think it was anyway. There are probably questions to ask and the masses are restless. I do think theres just something not quite right at the club…I cant fully put my finger on it either and its bugging the **** out of me.

I do think it would be nice to know but I actually think there are more important things for MPS to discuss and **** up than who owns a football club…like the state of our finances, national health etc. Dicks. No, it wont be anything like that Pags, more just a revolt at the running of the club and our apparant inability to compete with others off the pitch with signings etc. I think most of us have let it run and done our best to get behind the club in times of strife, but if we start to feel we are truly having the piss taken out of us then what has been bottled up for several seasons will spew up big time. All we want to do is compete, and the money we pay etc should allow for that but at the moment we are not on a levle playing field and there is not enough information coming our way to tell us why. The comms at the club are awful sometimes, as fans we do get left out on a limb a heck of a lot.
