Hate to be right as its hurting us but we said it at the time. No to Marshall. No to Keane. No to Weir. Had no idea about Mason, he was like the invisible man at Spurs been there years but hardly played. I think he is a decent player but we really didnt need a CM player especially not for 13 million when we had no strike force.
Lack of strikers has been our Achilles heel for a while. Our ambition for this season juddered to a halt with the signing of Keane - a player who has done nothing whilst on loan at lower league clubs, appalling injury record, yet we see him as a Premier League striker? Totally lost on this signing - and he's now crocked long term. They may as well have set fire to the amount of cash he cost in the back garden. No fault of Keane, but just a totally pointless signing.
Weren't you the one campaigning for Marshall to start because "he cost more than Jak so he should be starting"?
You're right. You made a thread saying we should be playing "the better" Marshall. http://www.not606.com/threads/no-place-for-sentiment.335907/ I seem to recall some saying he should start because we didn't buy him to sit on the bench though, and thought you were one.
Well (Lambo's being a slacker and not got the team news thread up) but the presser's just happened and Marshal was there. FFS.
