    "You see player worth £97m and you don't have any cash so you borrowed £50m from your bank and £50m from your favourite gunrunner. So now you have £100m. Since the player is £97m you are left with £3m change. You return £1m to your bank and £1m to your gunrunning friend and you're left with £1m for yourself.

    So now you owe your bank £49m and the gun runner £49m.......so £49m plus £49m is £98m.....plus the £1m you have is £99. . . What happened to the other £1m?"


    Answer: Who the hell cares! Being Pompey you have no intention of paying any of it back anyway.
