Have they altered it this season. Boro took 9,500 and it was the round before the quarter finals. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/fo...up-clash-support-North-East-Steelworkers.html
Rule says up to 10% of capacity (allegedly). Plenty of City in home ends I reckon, among the Irish and Home Counties folk
If I remember correctly Pearson joined Man Utd the summer before that season they spent in the second division. So, Pearson couldn't have played for City against them, let alone scored twice.
You do remember correctly. He had a convenient injury which meant he missed the game. Or wimped out as we believed. Waggy and Mally Lord scored the goals.
http://www.mufcinfo.com/manupag/match_data/match_sql.php?my_match_date=1974-11-23 someone thinks it was Alf Wood who scored http://www.hulldailymail.co.uk/did-hull-city-beat-manchester-united/story-26525204-detail/story.html definitely Lord
Mourinho's quote in the Beeb certainly isn't from the book of Allam. "The two legs take a little bit of emotion out of the draw, because the situation of playing away or home doesn't exist anymore," said the Portuguese. "I'm sure City have an amazing memory from Wembley and I'm sure they'll try everything to be there again. "Manchester United were at Wembley last season. It's January so now we forget this semi-final, but hopefully we can reach the final."
Fair enough. Sounded good but tbh I have trouble enough remembering yesterday. Got the score right tho.
Not for us, 10% of the ground for League and Cup, unless a particular round of the cup sees different figures. Although we do have an upper tier we're not allowed in that we should use to expand the away allocation Arsenal have the issue as for Cup games as the Cup is 10%, but the PL rule is either 3,000 or 10%, which ever is lower. (Obviously some clubs have more for away fans as standard) ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I'm sure they like one leg on a Wednesday and one on a Tuesday in each tie, so I would guess the away leg we'll be the Wednesday game, and the home leg we'll be the Tuesday game after playing Chelsea away at Sunday tea-time, because Southampton in the other semi are currently playing on the Monday night so would have to be the Wednesday game that week. Anyone else looked at the fixtures around the 1st and 2nd legs btw? 2nd leg in particular I can see rearrangements. Fri-Mon - FAC 3 Tue/Wed - LC Semi 1st Leg - So'ton Sat 3pm - Burnley vs So'ton, Hull City vs Bournemouth Sun 4pm - Man U vs L'pool - SKY Sat 12:30pm - L'pool vs Swansea Sat 3pm - Stoke vs Man U Sun 4pm - Chelsea vs Hull City - SKY* Mon 8pm - So'ton vs Leicester - SKY* Tue/Wed - LC Semi 2nd Leg - L'pool vs So'ton, Hull City vs Man U Fri-Mon - FAC4 *Sky also have Arsenal vs Burnley on the Sunday lunchtime, but no other PL games that weekend (Liverpool must be BT Sport). Southampton might have their game switched with the Arsenal one, like our game at the KC against Arsenal a couple of years ago was swapped with a Chelsea game because of one of them playing in Europe during the week. Other option really is Southampton/Leiceseter gets rearranged completely and we get free selection as to which League Cup game is played when.
We have never beaten them away in a league game and only once away in a cup game since our first encounter with them back in 1906. I was at the winning FA cup game in 1952.
We have beaten the 4 times at home in the league, and once away in the FA Cup. The scorers were Wagstaff and Lord last time we beat them, 74/75 season. Pearson had already gone to Man U by then.
The powers that be will be hoping we get beat by the scum because our end at Wembley will be half empty and they won't want that
Don't think we'll be having £9 tickets for the semi. West Ham got a 7,900 allocation "with prices starting at £37 Adults, £27.75 for 18-20 year-olds, £18.50 for 16-17 year-olds and Over-65s and £10 Under-16s." https://www.whufc.com/news/articles/2016/november/09-november/man-utd-tickets-sale-9am
