Was he ever REALLY going to talk to them I wonder? We seem to be very particular about who we talk to: Cortese talking to the Telegraph, Adkins on BBC 5Live, not gossip rags like The Sun and talkSPORT
I listen to Talk Sport early in the morning but at 10 o'clock I retune to Radio 4 and listen to Women's Hour just to spite those two morons.
I am really impressed with everything that surrounds the management of the Saints except for the way they deal with the media - who is our head of PR? This is yet another occassion where we have irrated the media, especially Talksport who are now a major player in football journalism and this will niggle them and we will have yet another major press empire coming after us to s**t stir and do us down Nicola - please sort out the clubs handling of the press, pleeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaaaase!
Why should Nigel talk to those two morons. They did not want to talk about our great club or saturday's fine win. No. It would have all been about Alex and Arsenal. I say F**k 'em we don't need that pair of neanderthal sexist morons..
Well we all know they would have asked questions about Chamberlain, and 'reports' have come out just now claiming that Chamberlain has passed his medical at Arsenal could this be the reason for blanking talksport??? It would make a good reason to not do it.
We all know that If Adkins went on air he would be sucked into the bermuda triangle of oxo debate etc. I think we can sort out the media by doing what we did on Saturday, pruducing positive results. Funny enough, purring reports have appeared in the papers for all to see which is all that matters really, just like conman "the physio" says.
Is it not possible that Adkins genuinely was busy? Especially if the Oxo stuff has been kicking off, and if we're in the market for a centre back, surely it'll be a busy time for Nige? If it was just a straightforward cancellation though, don't blame anyone not wanting to suffer that pair of clowns.
You know what..? You can have this as a trick question in a Saints orientated pub quiz, because, in a way, that's wrong. If we say that a the last ever goal scored at The Dell was in a competitive match and in front off a large crowd, then BBC presenter Roger Johnson gets it, because he scored from a penalty in the half-time competition. See..? Competitive and in front of a large crowd. Now let the arguments start..!
