I used it this morning, got to the middle and saw the counter on two seconds. Didn't know what to do so I waited in the middle. The lights changed again not to long later and I continued my crossing. True story
Just back from town and seen that large swathes of paving now appear to have been completed, but what caught my eye most was the new seating that has been installed, they are so low that you will be nearly sat on the floor. I also took a a look at our historical bit near to Whitefriargate, certainly some heavy stuff going on there in the former skateboard pit.
It seems they haven't, the closest they've got a quote from Brady calling it a 'world class facility'. The council deserve some credit for this one, they regularly **** things up, but getting Siemens here deserves some praise. Burnsy did his show from there this morning and it was great to hear so many people (both local and national) bigging up the city. I know someone that's just started working there. It'll be good for them. As for that crossing on Ferensway, how long before some twat in a car uses that crossing to turn around and kills someone?
That's a bit like saying let's not have pavements in case some **** mounts it and mows somebody down. Well, a bit.
