Also on the brights ide, most of their players will be ****ed for their next game, and Diame will be ****ed for the season, never seen him move so much, so that should hopefully reduce the possibility of them getting promotion too. Black n White ****e. Get in you Ull!
The sort of game, down to ten men, behind in extra time but end up winning on penalties and getting to the semi final of the League Cup for the first time, that should have been played out in front of a packed stadium with thousands disappointed they didn't get a ticket. Instead a half empty stadium with thousands late in. What a shambles our business geniuses preside over.
Yes he has. We've done this before. He's not actually made a single significant mistake remember. I'm not the only person. The coaching team see it, the media and pundits don't see anything controversial about playing Marshall. There's really nothing to see. People are just getting absurdly carried away about Jak's fist pumps and screaming. It's a shame that even when we get an unlikely result people want to use it as a reason to slag off someone who wasn't even playing, rather than focus on the positive of the result and performance. Don't you think Snodgrass, Tymon, all three who took and scored penalties deserve some credit rather than just putting it all down to the fact that Marshall wasn't playing?
Me too And that isn't necessarily being critical of Marshall...sometimes you just need to pick players on confidence and momentum
Jaks ability at playing the ball is pretty bad and puts us under unnecessary pressure. We all know Marshall is better than he's shown in a city shirt this far. Jak is on red hot form and maybe should be in the team currently but there's no question who's the better keeper.
Erm no it's the same rule for both. Jak was dropped because he made a howler, and has history of doing it on a regular basis. If Marshall does that he'll be dropped.
No jump for joy that they battled, even when down to ten. We know what we are, so revel in the good bits and not wallow in Newcastles inability to turn us over. 32 shots, how many on target ...
Lascelles was on a yellow and then threw something into the crowd if it had been one of our players that would have been a straight red
I've literally linked it on here about 10 times. The first goal against Arsenal. We were in the game until he assisted that goal by palming a weird cross/shot into the middle of the area. People keep trying to pretend it didn't happen, and blame Marshall for every goal based on the most innocuous things. Before that Marshall was on the bench for his first few games here. He came in for the very next game. It's no coincidence.
According to the BBC web page it was 1-1 at full time and Newcastle won 1-1 on penalties. http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/38059955
In your mind maybe. Strange how we ONLY started shipping goals when Marshall arrived and went in goal. You are the ONLY person trying to present Marshall as the first choice keeper. No one with a sound mind based on performances alone would pick Marshall ahead of Jakupovic. If Marshall does play the next game I can only assume either you or Ehab have some involvement in team selection . You still haven't forgiven him for feigning injury all those years ago let it go.
Nothing about marshall that I have seen this season makes me think he is a better goalie then Jak Just opinions though PLT
You could have applied similar reasoning for Jak not losing his spot in the first place. Give it back to him Mike.
Well I thought I was right but Patty has liked my post so I'm not sure now. Wouldn't it be better to talk about the brilliant, history making result rather than moaning about Marshall?
