Origi.. **** sake. great run then flop over. thus far yes ejaria is our better player. can on leftish side all the time is not working but he's working hard and pressing well. I have to say lucas and klavan are all ove rhte place. they are not working together or trusting each other IMO.
he didn't even play advantage cos he neve rput arms out. origi got in good position after and flopped over.
Midfield is like a pinball machine. As said, Can is shocking and this is the worst I've seen Stewart too. We seem to have no width and are are trying to walk it through the middle. Turgid. Leeds seem the quicker team. Mane iffy and origi trying to beat five men every time he gets the ball.
I keep saying it. every pass is limited simple, and easy. the ball then goes right back to him cos he's not playing a more creative ball that someone can do anything with.
TBF the officials gave a Leeds player offside there when he was in his own half. True, he was well covered and wasn't getting through, but that's up there with giving offside from a throw-in or corner.
I've not been overly critical of him before but shocking that half. too deep one minute, stepping up late when in back 3, as you say poor passing, leaving gaps in the center . ..just poor performance so far.
This lot don't play together often enough. Why it works so well for arsenal in trust in youngsters. only thing that pisses me off about that, is when they get so far, then its play first team. but to be fair all clubs will do same.
It looks like stewart regular game to me. they have left him at it and pressed any pass he makes cos he's pasing to the most obvious simplest ball. Can has done better off the ball than on it. he has pressed well enough on them Mane is deffo iffy as ****. he not really trying IMO, he's sort or reacting.
The only question i would have is why didn't he wave advantage for the first pull. origi then got in a grea tposition so that pull was slightly irrelevant
And reina being stitched letting go of ball well in his area resulting in free kick given which they score from FFS lol.
Can and Stewart off and Hendo and Milner on into midfield would improve matters. I think Gini has been a bit complacent a few times and been caught with the ball or missed a decent opportunity for a telling pass. We also seem to be clustered around the ball, whereas the team normally all move into space when we get possession.
