Absolutely tragic on several levels. I'm afraid that my first cynical thought was to wonder if ManU have sent their special condolences.
Yesterday, I went to the Houses of Parliament as a guest of our MP (in a group). Wonderful building, very interesting. Having got caught up in a traffic jam and then security, we arrived too late for our tour of the Lords and Commons as the House had sat, but we did get to sit in the gallery over the Commons. Would have loved to have stayed longer, but had to rush back for the ferry. Had no lunch or food all day and just 15 mins to get a cup of tea before we left. I got within sniffing distance of the café when our MP stopped me to ask about our visit. The man deserves a medal....getting between a woman and her cup of tea. I would recommend a visit to anyone who hasn't done it.
I did it when I was doing Law O-level (yes, to you youngsters, that is an exam from the olden days) and it was fascinating. Almost as fascinating as Sarah the sexy brunette in my class. I think I need to visit again and take it all in this time!
