I've been away on a tour of duty in Outer *****lia and have missed what's been going on in London. Who's rioting and why? I notice interestingly enough that Neil Lennon is very quiet on the subject. Strange that. Oh and the tea was not that expensive out there.

Some fella got shot dead last week by the police in North London so they've been rioting as a protest. Lotting, burning out buildings. I'm trying to get Rebelbhoys opinions on this as he thought using water cannons against thugs like this was dangerous and the best way to tackle a riot is to stand back and hope it "fizzles out"

Rhebels Rumblings He said that water canons were dangerous weapons and should not be used. He said that rioters should be left alone by the police and hopefully the trouble fizzles out. He said it was understandable that police get hit with bricks, bottles and petrol bombs.
