Born and lived on Bransholme Garths area for first 20 years or so of my life.
All I needed was a football for Christmas, and used to play on Noddle Hill playing fields every hour of daylight during the season when they had the posts up. When the season finished we used to play using two trees, but with no crossbar it often got feisty...."That was ****ing well over....**** off it was well in...." On dark nights we used to play in the car park under the lights, and if in goal when playing headers and volleys we used to dive on the concrete, cuts bruises blood, we were tough nuts on Noddle Hill lol. Good times.
Looking back, I was a really cheap kid for my parents.........

Oh, for the want of a correctly chosen personal pronoun we are thrust into a world of confusion, misunderstanding and ill-informed grammatical disorder.

    'Twas ever thus.

    Sigh.
