City won the replay 1-0 (Howieson) in front of 32,930 attendance.

They then drew the semi-final 2-2 with Arsenal at Elland Rd. (Howieson and Duncan) - 47,549
We lost the replay 1-0 at Villa Park - 46,200

Hopefully not ominous, but City were relegated from Division Two that season.

It's almost as mental as a cup 1/4 final and everyone at home watching Emmerdale..

Not sure what your point is there.

First quote of mine is how I'd like us to set up, not that I expect to.

Next quote of mine is the meltdown we'll see if Diame scores and celebrates. Like Campbell. Meltdown big time.

Are you just deliberately misinterpreting my posts? Or did you get whooshed?

I found it funny that you made a snide dig at people potentially going over the top about Diame, 4 minutes after posting a hysterical little sob of your own, on the very same thread.

    You found...

    ...hysterical little sob?

    Kinell.

No wonder you think your little twitter campaign is an effective and brave form of protest.

You do remember the, frankly funny and well ridiculed reaction to an ex player who scored and celebrated in front of the little princesses who'd been abusing him throughout the game, all manfully and hard, but who broke down in tears and fury when he did that???

    Hang on a sec.

You were one of those hard nuts weren't you?

In that case, accept my apology, I didn't meant to bring back those painful memories for you.

You realise you've turned one quite innocuous post about who I'd like to see play, but don't expect to, and one laugh at the sensitive souls who got all hurt over a celebration into something they really aren't? Well done you!

It would appear that there may be several Toon fans in and around us tomorrow night. I can't see our stewards doing much to sort it so can we all play nice and avoid any unpleasant exchanges. North and South stands seem to have been targeted apparently. Finally can we make sure we let them know about it when we beat the bastards.

What sort of reception will Diame get tonight, personally I think we should give him a good one?

If you boo Diame you're essentially siding with that useless prick Ehab and his gross mismanagement of the club.

Diame should be cheered out. People should sing his name and applaud him when he moves near the side of the pitch.

    We'll win tonight.

The Entitled will not be happy & subsequently suggest clubs as big as their own should be given a bye to the semis every season & not be made to play smaller clubs from higher divisions.

    3 nowt.

    Batter the Geodie ****ers.

Newcastle are the bookies faves and that's understandable when you see the form and the players at each clubs disposal.

Should either team progress a very difficult draw could follow, but I wont be alone in thinking that Rafa could work his magic and beat anyone over two legs.

Prediction Away win 2-1 to Newcastle, Snodgrass screamer for Hull, 2 goals for Big Mo Diame

Good Luck with the rest of your season and hopefully some new ownership soon! If you stay up, its more likely the mackems will go down.

Hayden you could cheer out, maybe with more money available we would have kept him. Diame though we stuck by and he didn't do that great and just wanted to leave as quick as he could, might have left in January had he been fit enough.

I have to say from what I've seen of this season, I prefer Hayden to Diame, very different types of players like, but Hayden's a class act very good technically and reads the game well for a youngster. I didn't see much of Diame at Hull, but I recall seeing a few west ham games where he was an absolute beast, almost Yaya Toure esque, but even self admittedly, he has found that type of form for us yet

The last ever guy to score a goal to get us into the top division in the 21st century. He'll go down in history even if he is a bit mardy.
