I assume that was the Chien Lee bid, I know someone involved described Ehab as 'exceptionally difficult'.
I feel the same, I love traveling back to Hull (home) and catch a game preferably away. It is always part of my trip home. Now I feel very different. Only one reason why, them bastards.
Thats the head scratcher no one can work out Hutch. We're talking a lot of money here yet they dont want to sell. Why? We're going down. Why not sell when you have the chance?
Crazy aint it chazz Talk about cutting your nose off to spite your face You start wondering is he really that stupid , but then as much as we hate the twat surey hes not that stupid Which gets you wondering is it all to spite us fans for not bowing down to their every whim? It pisses me off the way they seem to think theyve done us a huge favour taking over us and saving us from admin when were still massivley in debt due to their gift really being a loan ****ing arseholes
No one is going to risk a 70 million debt, I dont think they mind pissing fans off but that isnt why theyre doing this. For all the talk they arent idiots. Maybe they have the situation sorted and will put the club into admin and have got their money out? I dunno. But i bet they wont lose out money wise.
Any idea how the admin process works? Would they cash all sky tv money to recoup there gift Then put us in admin? How much sky tv cash have we had and are due? Wonder what percentage has been spent on wages/transfers/running costs etc And whats gone towards paying off thier gift interest
Definatly up to something if serious about selling we'd of been sold by now Living in hope chien lee comes back in with a slightly better offer and they accept cant see it though
This is a post I stuck up on CI earlier... We took out a £23.4m bank loan to cover last seasons losses, which was no doubt paid off from the first Premier League payment, we've got a £55-60m wage bill, we spent £18.5m in the summer, that's your £99m spent already. The Allams could obviously decide to put in no more money and try and cash in on a few players, but it's never going to generate anywhere near the £70-80m they're owed and the parachute money doesn't come close to covering the wage bill, never mind being available to take out. Obviously those are just rough numbers and take no account of non-TV revenue, this was just a post in response to the suggestion that there were tens of millions sloshing about and the Allams could just take it out whenever they fancied.
Our wage bills ****ing ridiculous Whos in charge of handing contracts out? Need a few big earners off the books Really need to be more savvy in player recruitment and contract negotiations We dont have the infrastructure to support £60m wage bills were basically relying on sky tv cash which is dangerous especially with these ****s in charge Cheers for the info olm
Our wage bill is pretty much in line with everyone else's, the only club with a lower wage bill than ours, is Burnley.
I should of put in there Wage bill compared to squad quality Id be interested to know what the likes of thudd, meyler, bruce and elmo are on as they are the ones whos quality is waning and are on the to be improved upon/replaced list for me Got to get the maximum quality for wages and i think were a very long way off doing that
Huddlestone was our highest paid player, I don't know if that's changed since he's got his new deal, but he was on over £50k a week.
