There keeper had a quite game,as said Men against Boys once more No end product,Tammy brother was sat behind me with his girlfriend,he looked well Peed of with the service his brother was getting.
Its happening too often to put it down to bad luck. Poor technique in a a lot of cases and its down to coaching.
LJ ....."It was decent game, it was like two good boxers going for each other. Had the game finished four-all, you'd have probably been right that that was a fair result." ROCK EN MESSE (anagram)
So, we lost a game we were expected to lose against an in-form side on their own patch. Disappointing yes - it always is when we lose, but unexpected? no. I'll be asking more questions when we lose games that we are expected to win.
They can't - it's a season-long loan without a recall clause. It's a very cunning plan to devalue him so we can get him on a permanent deal
Normally agree with most things you say but that's ridiculous, even Reading fans are saying their player blatantly dived.
Funny you say that, his brother was behind me at Reading, did not look best pleased.. Tammy has to be so peed off.No service,No help up their on his lonesome.
Well we have Redprintt loving it because LJ is having a lull and we have RR with his usual panic attack! I keep saying, we can't be far away, score wise no team have blown us away, I think only Brighton has beaten us by 2 clear goals and only Sheff Weds have put 3 past us. Yes LJ needs to pull his finger out and start getting the confidence back to the players.......still no panic from me ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,yet!
The next couple of games will show what we are made of. Hopefully we'll get some points on the board and move up a few places. Wigan won last night, and despite them having had a pretty awful season so far, they are now only 6 points behind us. We've lost the same number of games as some teams in the bottom 6.
'LJ is having a lull' The players have seen through him, I knew they would. He talks a great game, most fans want to believe and get sucked in. Anyway, according to their local rag Ipswich were very lucky against QPR, the fans are restless and want change. We could be playing them at the right time.
They still beat them 3-0 though Had they scraped it 1-0 with 1 shot on target for 90 minutes, then perhaps lucky might be true but did they get so lucky that they won 3-0 ? Anyway, we need 3 points against them and no mistake. There may be some very interesting times ahead for us I feel
Was it a performance which oozed quality and control from start to finish? No. There was an element of good fortune about all three goals scored – a scuffed finish from Grant Ward, a keeper howler which presented Luke Varney with an unguarded net and a shot which fell kindly at Tom Lawrence’s feet. Supporters aren’t stupid and they hate being treated that way. It again felt like that when defender Christophe Berra said last week that everyone needed to recognise that the Blues ‘aren’t world beaters’. It was a comment which only added fuel to the growing frustrations of many who, in response, wryly suggested simply beating bottom-half-of-the-table sides would be a start. Berra’s words only seemed to back-up the feeling that a lack of ambition has seeped down from owner Marcus Evans into all pores of the club. Mediocrity is being accepted all too readily. When the team sheets were announced at 2pm, and fans saw McCarthy had recalled the veteran duo of Jonathan Douglas and Luke Varney (both aged 34) to his starting line-up, there was a sense the mood could turn toxic. Angelic, I think it's a good time to be playing Ipswich, that's all.
a 3-0 win in any circumstances is a moral booster .. a change of fortune! I wont luck ..we had the luck /fortune to play teams like Norwich Newcastle and Villa when they were in dis array our ability now would indicate we might have a negative GD and 3 less points! Probably the wrong time to play them... IMHO
