I won't lose sleep over it if we don't progress, but I want us to take all major competitions seriously. It's not just about the competition, it's about acquiring the mind-set of winners - to me this is much more important in the long run than the perceived wisdom of resting players.
As Saint says, we need to go into this game full of confidence and arrogance, expecting to smash this championship club with our second string.
don't really see where saint said or second string should be expected to smash anyone. I just see expect a winning mentality. this for me means urgency work ethic and aggression. It doesn't mean to my mind assume our second string (klavan, lucas, moreno for example) are actually head and shoulders over any championship side.
