Not particularly hopeful for this game, said when the draw was made that it was the toughest draw we could've gotten and haven't changed my opinion, Arsenal have a very good squad (arguably the best in the league) so even with a host of changes they will still be a very good side, especially at home. I'd line up something like McCarthy Martina - Yoshida - Van Dijk - McQueen Romeu - Reed Rodriguez - Boufal - Sims Long
My record for match threads this season: Played 9 Won 6 Drawn 2 Lost 1 Goals scored 13 Goals conceded 2 I know it's just luck but I'm pretty proud of that!
Oh please, no! 90 minutes only. I'm old and it's a school night close to exam time; the wife will beat me if the boy is knackered
The toughest draw would have been Liverpool away without any shadow of a doubt. Arsenal will rest players as they're in the Champions League. Liverpool aren't in Europe so they can afford to play a strong team in this competition.
Arsenal games are quite odd really. We are either great or hopeless, there never seems to be an average game. 4-0 either way is just as likely. If it has to be 0-1, can we score late on this time. Less stressful, marginally!
My first trip to the Emirates, really looking forward to this one.. Like to see almost our strongest team to be honest. By that I mean I want to see Virgil, Romeu and Austin all starting at minimum. Like to give Long a start maybe though as his pace could be useful on the break. Boufal if fit, is Tadic still out? Need to sort out how I'm getting there yet too! Have we sold out ?
I'm feeling more confident than I was about this game....mainly because the team's tails must be up. The Prague game was such a disappointing performance....the team needed to be reminded that they can play so much better. However, we still give teams too many chances without taking ours. This is the game to get that right.
please log in to view this image Arsenal's squad from the last round Just for reference: Arsenal: Martinez, Jenkinson, Holding, Gabriel, Gibbs, Elneny, Maitland-Niles, Oxlade-Chamberlain, Reine-Adelaide, Iwobi, Lucas Perez. Subs: Giroud, Bielik, Zelalem, Macey, Sheaf, Willock, Bola.
With so many double barrelled names, I'd stick to taking numbers not names if I was booking players. Must cost fans a bundle to get them on the shirt. Need a bigger shirt.

Think they will have a few more 1st teamers than the last round. Anyone ever taken the coach to Emirates and know where it parks? Might buy the travel but only use it on the way back
