Love it Glory's targeting safety already to be fair though safety first, then cash for league position in the table and then hopefully play off cash. Just makes a nice change that we are openly in with a chance of play offs this season. Usually we are hoping to stop the rot and talking about targets for transfer window, expecting 13th in the table at best

Tomorrow cant come soon enough....be great to get a result there but I cant see it. As long as we don't disgrace ourselves and get a good hiding then all is good. Just hoping for a good day out and a decent atmosphere.
With respects to every ones opinion/s, I don't understand why we aren't treating cup games as important as league games, it's all football and they're all games to win with rewards at the end. Fielding second string teams is same as throwing a game imo, Prem teams are good at it cos they believe Europe is better and more rewarding financially, well, if they think that they should eff off to Europe and leave the British game to those clubs who want to play and fight for everything. If we keep going down same track as the prem teams in cup games then we're also contributing to ruining the British game, we should be entering a cup game cos we're in it to win it, it's silverware in the cupboard; remember silverware? the shiney cup looking thingies that Don Revie and his players played and fought for every game, and we won a few back then for those that have forgotten. We also created the most feared team in Europe and a few of our own football legends along the way, that was real football with real players and real attitudes. If we don't care about cup games, fans, coaches and owners alike, then we may as well write to the FA/FL and tell'em we're not entering their cup competitions cos we don't believe them to be that important. Will we have the same attitude as the prem teams and just want European football, and say fook the British comps cos they're just training matches to give a few reserves and fringe players a few games a year. Doesn't matter who we play, or in what comp, we should be going out to win every match for the club and supporters.
LeedsLover all of us would agree with you, except: If Pontus gets injured and Bartley gets sent off, or Wood is hurt ....... How do we replace these players in crucial league matches, which could mean we loase 5 on the bounce whilst waiting for them. By then the season is over and we are fighting for mid table. Yes if we field a full team and they all come through thats great, but face facts/odds. We will be unlikely to win so risking injuries is a gamble on a match which isnt important. Important only to the clubs finance director and becomes important to the fans if we reached the final.
