I am afraid most football fans can't think so rationally; myself included. We are like barcelona right now. Sent from my SM-N910F using Tapatalk
It doesn't help that the Saints interviewer is tall, but, Josh has to look so far up, he looks about ten.
Apparently we give short-arses a chance to prove themselves, whereas other teams don't. The theory is that they will grow later....so much for theory.
I cant remember who said it as just in, but definitely a bit of Rickie in his face...is he is son with a 2ft woman? "He stands at nearly 5 foot 3, Joshie, Joshie"....
Yeah, that was me. There was one angle where I actually did a double-take as I was positive that I was seeing Rickie. Hope he turns out to be as big a hero
I feel cheated. I was looking forward to seeing Virgil put Lukaku in his pocket.... it appears that the only time Lukaku jumped must have been in the tunnel when he decided to jump into Virgil's pocket before the game kicked off!
Joshie is admitting now that it was actually a shot on goal....give him a while and he'll be telling his kids how he saw Austin was in a better position and he provided a lovely soft ball for him.

Well that was undoubtedly the first half performance of the season. The second half? Well for the last 20 minutes, and I commented on this after the last game, we seemed to lose concentration and our previous, fantastic composure on the ball in defence disappeared to be replaced by a hoof back into our oppositions possession. Having said that, what a positive debut and how nice to do Everton, given the circumstances.
