Don`t think that`s the reason. Might be wrong mind but I thought they were for pacifists and the victims of war.

White Poppies symbolise the conviction that there are better ways to resolve conflict than through the use of violence. Nothing to do with those working behind the scenes.

Y'all don't know me farm boy.

A thread on a football forum by a boring old turnip picker, is not where I choose to hang my colours.

its the white feather pops that was the symbol you mean ,the white poppy is in relation to civilians and the purple for animals who perished being used during conflict

I know about the white feather, different thing altogether, the women took it upon themselves to dish them out as a sign of cowardice.

There you go, knew I`d seen it somewhere.

And you exactly what 'i mean about' <laugh>Which is i don't know is why you're on your high horse for people having a laugh on an incredibly normal bog standard off topic thread. You think it's something special and chosen to attack Tel while ignoring com when they both were having laugh. Because you're a self important coward is my best guess.

Not hard to understand Stooey, I fully understand the subject, but 10 mins after trying to act the clown on another thread you expect to be taken seriously on this one.

I couldn't take you seriously if you were holding a gun to my face. I can't imagine what your equally boring turnip pickers say behind your back on a daily basis if this is how you are out in the real world.

Always loading up for your next response, that's why you're boring. Void, remember.

I know you enjoyed your cosy nights on your boat stooey, I won't mock your service, I'm sure you did a grand job.

I'm just looking at that picture again.
Hows he got his wings then?
I'd hazard a guess he's never jumped out of a plane in his life.

Queen mother sewed it in because there was bit of space left over. <laugh>

Fully trained Jet and helicopter pilot apparently. Not seen conflict in either vehicle of course.
