Good half, we've been much the better side. They've had a couple of opportunities though and will surely play better in the second half. We need another goal.
Sims playing really well. A lot more movement and link up between midfield and front three. Sims always trying to find space between Everton's defence and midfield. Good link up from Redmond and Bert. Everton can be dangerous so no complacency, but more of the same
Hjojberg has been all over the pitch. Exactly what was missing in Prague, midfield 3 playing really well when we have the ball
Good half, shame not made the most of it with a second goal. Sims have a very promising start and getting very involved in the game. Need to keep the ball better in the second half and take the sting out of Everton who must do better in the next 45 minutes
Good 1st half. Everton wont be as bad in the 2nd half,they are better than that. 2nd goal please saints
It's because we haven't got Clasie playing in midfield. He is too defensive, were as Hojbjerg and Prowse like to get forward/ move about. Clasie should only be used if Romeu can't play.
Need that second goal because Everton look like they have got one in them if they get their finishing sorted out.
Good debut for Sims. Showing some good skills. Also some inexperience. Needs to adjust to the higher level of play before he makes a bad mistake. Still, he doesn't look overmatched or intimidated. You have to go through the learning curve at some point.
