Do you deliberately make your posts on here incoherent and unintelligible then?

WTF are you on about? You know exactly that you have hijacked this thread for some perverse reason that only you can understand. Your contribution to this thread has been nothing more than a diatribe. As for me picking you up on your grammar (which is appalling), can I refer you to your earlier comment that you don't care what people think of you? Or did you forget that?

We can only rely on the story Beth
    There's the truth
And how many on here will follow up and act on this subject ... none of us
At least I have had a good rant
Crewe and City now tarred as clubs who don't mind a bit of abuse ... how long until that sickness makes it way into the terraces?

    Look at Brighton
I witnessed at LR all round chants by QPR of
Does you boyfriend know your here
Directed to at the time a 17 year old player warming up who was coached by my mate from 6 years old

    Acceptable ?

    Love you too, Dave.
As I indulged far too much last night while watching 'Chase and Status', the weather will be gloomy all day.

Personally I didn't find your joke offensive (not as much as your lack of commas and full stops in your posts), but thought it maybe a bit insensitive.
What wouldn't upset or offend me, might upset and offend a few on here, so maybe it was better off not said.

If any of you are really 'getting all hett up' because the media told you to, this country is in a worse state than I thought. Personally I have my own opinions and the ability to form them. To suggest that we are being led sheep-like by the press is frankly condescending at best and down right rude at worst. These crimes are despicable and only an idiot would have their minds made up by anything else other than their own human decency.

Well this time two weeks ago we werent getting hett up about this even though this all happened before 1994, when he was convicted... Why is that Shefford?
( I actually have no idea, why this has taken so long to become a scandal...can anyone inform me of why that is, I do not know why?...it makes me suspicious)

But you are right this place is in a worse state than you thought...the power of the media is the most powerful force in this country, they tell us how to think, because they give us the (sometimes limited) information, from which we form our own opinions.

I can only answer for myself and say that I formed my opinions a long time ago (possibly handed down to me be my forefathers), and not because the press told me to react. This thread has become a farce I am afraid and is now so far from the original point. As such, I will not add grist to the mill and will post no more.

    By the way

I will close this thread if it does continue to be a simple fist fight between two or three people....with no coherent discussion ongoing

You haven't offended me at all, I just get frustrated by often not being able to understand what point it is you are making.

Over 50 years ago I lived in a cul-de-sac (Gardens) in Andover, Hampshire, where my Grandfather on my Mother's side built most of the homes back in the 1920's. I liked to ride my bike round and round the treed circle at the top of the Gardens.

There was a man living in the upper part of the Gardens who was rather eccentric, lived with his sister, didn't work and used to go for really long walks into the surrounding countryside, generally wearing the same light coloured sports jacket, with leather elbow patches (remember those?) I imagine the siblings probably inherited the house from their parents with enough money to live on.

Back then I was an avid collector of British Commonwealth stamps and this guy mentioned that he also had a huge collection (Penny Blacks & Reds, Blue Cape Triangles etc.) that he offered to show me, and purchase quite cheaply any I was interested in to add to my own collection. I mostly went to that house alone, occasionally with a chum, sometimes his sister was there, sometimes not. Nothing other than stamp discussions ever occurred, although when my Dad found out he was very upset and told me to never go there again - I believe Dad had a bit of history with this guy after an incident where he once laid a boot into our brindle bull terrier and Dad then had a set to with him.

So in this case, what could have been the classic, "come up and look at my etchings" situation, was actually only totally harmless encounters discussing a topic of mutual interest.

How many on here remember when we were kids going off on bike rides or walks etc ... maybe staying out after dark

To even think of letting a child out today in the UK you would get strung up and branded a irresponsible parent. Sexual abuse has always been there in the shadows but look where societies fear factor is now .

This peddling of news stories hasn't helped anyone live in trust IMO

My sons when 6, 8 and 10 were allowed out in France because that fear factor was not there ... nor is it today in my experience. I have three wonderful street wise men now who have the tolerance and the skills to fight any evil if it arrives

A sickness exists worldwide but for us in the U.K. to believe that we are free is crazy. We have accepted and become addicted to sensational media ... the internet hasn't helped of course
