Good post. Im shocked Sterling all the advice you used to give to our previous manager. now, nothing. Same team as one that got beat 3-0. Etc etc and nothing from you. amazing.
I think how ****e we were in the first half actually confused Pulis' plan. A milestone reached today though - we've equalled Derby's infamous points total. Next targets: Sunlun's 15 pts haul and Villa's 17 points. But, if we can beat Boro, Burnley, Swansea, Palace, Sunlun at home - if - then you never know.
Agreed apart from one thing. Phelan. This league is ****. Some poor poor teams yet we've just dropped two points at home to a bag of ****e.
Some of you who didn't even go to the game slating 17 year old Josh Tymon Well done Josh if only some of our other players had your attitude
oh when will you ever be happy chaz? SB was our worst manager ever. I dont get the love-in that you have for that fat geordie bastard. give MP till the end of the season at least. ****ing hell you dont half moan.. can tell youre 70. dya want a park bench to sit on so you can shake your fist at all the whipper-snappers?
Very negative first half going in at HT losing meant we hadn't a lot to lose second half. We then came out a different team had a go, crowd responded and we scored. Wish we would have a go from the first minute we know we lack quality but its important when at home we go at teams, yes we know taking on the Man City's ect at their own game is a bit different but teams around us we have to go at from the beginning, Mbokani needs more help up front. Over all its a point which didn't look likely at half time.
Mmm and all the SB loving that you did "give him time etc", why the Phelan out push? It's not amazing, the expectation on a bloke in his first full managerial role was never going to be the same as a man who has managed there for nearly a decade.
The only player with a bad attitude is Elmo. Lack of character is a weakness in his persona so not all down to not giving a flying ****.
£uck sake. Why do we start playing in the second half? ....Someone (Phelan) should tell them the game has two halfs... in the second half we made WBA look what they are.. Average...With a bit more foresight from the off, we'd have won that game.. Elmo is lacking that edge. Has talk of a move away turned his head?...As for Mason we've been done over. BIG TIME..
Elmo was poor along with the rest of them first half. Second half he had a good game. I have to say thought their LB was very good. Shackled snoddy pretty well.
The big guy at f/b for them didn't put a foot wrong..That chip over Snoody's head was sublime..Best player on the pitch by a mile..That Rondon also looked useful, but should have buried that chance at the death
Me too, it was a point more than I thought we'd get before the game, so happy with the point, stops the rot, and keeps us still with the pack. The first half was dire though, never mind shots on target, we couldn't get beyond their back four to see the goal. Any fool could see within 20 mins that the set up just wasn't working, WB are physical, big, it was crying out for Harry to come on in 3 at the back, and push 2 forward, but at least he changed at half time, different altogether in 2nd half. Mason? We were well and truly mugged there. Snoddy - anyone know what's happening, our best player, surely we must be doing something to keep him? We can't be letting him go for nothing? Honoury mention to Jak, Man of the Warm Up! Passion and enthusiasm shown in the practice net, celebrating his saves with the crowd in South stand!
